Z's Skill Sequence

Skill Sequence

Alright, on Awilix you'll be wanting to max your abilities 2>4>3>1. Level up your Gravity Surge every time it's possible. You'll want to start with your Feather Step because it's one of the easiest damaging abilities to secure next to your Moonlight Charge. The reason you don't level up your 1 1st is because it isn't that effective. You'll usually be using that for escaping or chasing.

1). Summon Suku You shouldn't really leap most of the time. While chasing you should be able to secure the kill without wasting suku. Simply chase after the kill & if they're low then just right click, moonlight charge, 2 basics, & feather step. You'll still be able to summon suku to escape if you're in a sticky situation.

2). Feather Step Feather Step is a unique but simple ability. Basic attack twice to get the AoE damage. Feather Step gives you the ability to dodge ults similar to Poseidon's kraken. Feather Step is a great tool for boxing other assassins & gods with AoE abilities. It's one of my favorite abilities in the game.

3). Moonlight Charge Moonlight Charge is great for initiating ganks, picks, & team fights. If you get the knockup on your moonlight charge you can easily basic>basic>featherstep or Gravity Surge>basic>basic>featherstep.

4). Gravity Surge Gravity Surge is a unique ability. You can bring knocked up enemies towards you/slamming them into you. Gravity Surge is great for initiating picks. This ability works well with the knockup on Moonlight Charge. Remember that you can also pop Gravity Surge while boxing since it gives a massive steroid. Myself? It's fun doing moonlight charge + gravity surge through the wall.

Z's Awilix Build

Z's Awilix Build

Starter Build -

Bumba's Mask Bumba's Mask is mandatory on all junglers. This helps the jungler tank the speed, & mana camp early before rotating to fire elementals/mid camps.

Boots Just for the movement speed. Awilix may have her mount although you should still get t1 boots early on. You'll have fast rotations.

4 health/mana potions:[/color] For the early sustain. You don't want to spam Awilix's summon suku since she's a very mana hungry god. This'll help you sustain yourself in the early game.

End Build

Warrior Tabi Warrior Tabi offers the most for Awilix. She relies on power rather than attack speed for this build. In almost all scenarios you'll be getting Warrior Tabi..

Hydra's Lament You should always rush this item on Awilix. This helps with Awilix's mana problems + it works perfectly with her attack progression & kit.

Jotunn's Wrath This is what you'll usually rush 1st on most junglers. This is a core item in most ability-based junglers.

Titan's Bane Again, this item works great with her kit. You'll shred through objectives & players like they're paper once you get Titan's Bane online.

Stone Cutting Sword This is another great item for Awilix & it works with her basic attack progression. It decreases the enemy players protection while adding to your protections. It's a very useful item & recently it got buffed to be more viable. SCS can situationally be replaced by Brawlers Beatstick, & Heartseeker.

Spirit Robe Spirit Robe is great for late game. The passive works with Awilix great since you'll be escaping/chasing with suku most of the time. Spirit Robe is for the late game/when you're going to be blown up quickly. If the enemy team has lots of lockdown I suggest replacing this item with Mantle of Discord.

Situational Items

Brawler's Beat Stick This item replaces Stone Cutting Sword. I would only suggest getting this over Stone Cutting Sword when they have a healer such as Sylvanus, Hel, & Aphrodite.

Heartseeker This item replaces Stone Cutting Sword. I would suggest getting this item if you're sticking (focusing) to targets well & you aren't getting blown up by physical gods.

Mantle of Discord This item replaces Spirit Robe. I would suggest getting this item when the enemy team has massive lock down potential & you need some self-peel for more viability.

Z's Gameplay

Z's Gameplay

Conquest Start -

Alright, we've already talked about the compositions, skill sequence, & builds. Now it's time to talk about where you start as a jungler (Awilix) & how you rotate in different scenarios.

You'll always be starting at speed. If you aren't invading yourself then watch out for ganks until 5s before speed spawns. After that, you'll be moving onto mana & then you'll help solo lane pressure the lane for 1 wave. If you successfully clear the lane 1st then do the fire elementals with your solo laner & then quickly burn mid harpies with your mid laner. Make sure to pull them towards you just incase they attempt to steal the harpies. Now you'll do one mid wave, & back harpies. In that point of the game you should've reached level 5. You'll be rotating with your jungler to duo lane most likely to secure a kill preferably on the ADC.

Contesting Objectives -

As Awilix you always want to contest objectives early on. Below I'll show you some examples of how you should contest objectives.

Mid Harpies: If both junglers/mids are even at the mid harpies then I suggest you contest them. Force fights early with Awilix because that's one of her strong points. If you cannot fight them for some reason then try to steal the mid harpies with your moonlight charge.

Back Harpies:
After a wave early game you'll most likely be invading the enemies mid harpies with Awilix depending on your clear. If they make it there in time my suggestion is to fight them with your mid laner to secure an early kill or back harpies. If their duo lane or solo is rotating then leave asap.

Speed (Invade):
Due to Awilix's great early boxing potential + her passive you always want to get the 1st hit in a fight & invade in most scenarios. Wait until their jg/solo waste their abilities & then engage by using Wrath on speed & engaging on the weaker of the two. It's always great to invade when the enemy team has a Chang'e, or Loki solo.

Gold fury: Alright, you should only be doing Gold fury when their mid & adc are dead or +3 people are in solo lane for a even trade. If the enemy team is burning it randomly for some reason then try to Wrath it & if you can't do that then try to get at least 1 pick with your combo.

Fire Giant:
You shouldn't be doing Fire Giant unless there are +3 people doing Gold fury or +3 enemies (Mid) aren't alive. Late game you should always save wrath/hog if you think they're trying to bait fire. While y'all are dancing around fire try to get 1 pick with moonlight charge & gravity surge.

Updated it to make it look nice.. I'll be updating the conditions of gold fury/fire giant this week/didn't add a lot of detail around those areas + I'll be fixing more of the coding.

I will make one major critique that I just noticed and that was pretty upsetting, that is your "Conditions" for doing Gold Fury and Fire Giant. Sure what you mentioned were safe scenarios for doing those objectives. However there are plenty of other situations you can go for those objectives including the tactic of Forcing an objective or sneaking an objective. I'll go more in-depth on this later since thid will likely end up being a long comment and I don't want to tap that out on my phone.

That might be my fault. So let me be the first to talk about this guide. Everything looks good, the guide as a whole is simple and straight to the point. The build you push is also pretty damn good. I might make one recommendation; that you swap your standard build order to Warrior Tabi Jotunn's Wrath Hydra's Lament Stone Cutting Sword Spirit Robe Titan's Bane. In my opinion this build order (With the same items you recommend) gets you your power spikes more efficiently for certain segments of the game and also gets your protections online around the time the teamfights should really start kicking into full gear.

I think I see what you were going for when you chose Hydra's Lament before Jotunn's Wrath in your build order. But I'd like to make the argument that the stats on Jotunn's Wrath are just too good to overlook in the build order.

All in all this is a nice, short and clean Awilix guide, great job. I would suggest doing some BBcoding though so it's not just a wall of text for instance when you're talking about your items you can simply do {{Jotunn's Wrath}}(Replacing { with [ ) to turn it into Jotunn's Wrath.

1). Yeah, I'll update this soon with the coding.. It's a good guide although it looks unfinished/sloppy because I'm still getting used to the coding..

2). Hydra's Lament became better on Awilix 2nd item after the buff. Good friend of mine on Reddit was talking about how it surpasses Jotunn's Wrath on gods like Awilix for various reasons. Sorry if I'm being vague. This argument was all over when Hydra's Lament got buffed. I think you can build either 1st.

3). Situationally, I build Spirit Robe before Titan's Bane. If I'm not being blown up then I usually go Titan's Bane 1st.

4). The guide isn't exactly finished. I'll be updating it weekly throughout the rest of this season & S4.

Thanks for the comment. <3

So I went back and did some testing for the sake of it and my results were for a 2 item Awilix at level 9 (roughly when you can expect to have Jotunn's Wrath or Hydra's Lament online) is that you actually have a more significant boost in power from Jotunn's Wrath especially when it comes to abilities. (Around a 40-50 damage boost on Feather Step over Hydra's Lament). The extra penetration also increased your overall basic attack damage compared to Hydra's Lament making the passive on Hydra's Lament negligible with only 2 items. I definitely think you're right that you can build either/or second but I'm gonna stick to my testing and say that Jotunn's Wrath is the better power spike. However you do have to take into consideration that Hydra's Lament will come online a bit sooner than Jotunn's Wrath.

All in all Jotunn's Wrath is the better second item pickup overall as it is better suited to dealing with the early protections that tanks will be building and counters the natural protections that will have come online. But Hydra's Lament is by no means a bad pickup second on her either. The MP5 is pretty gnarly.

Keep treckin' on. Looking forward to seeing yours once it's all prettied up. I'm working on recoding/writing my Awilix guide as well.
