Titan's Bane
In the above builds, the recurring theme seems to be to get a penetration item from the
Mace tree at least as a first item, or second item (after
Bumba's Hammer of course. As with most physical assassins, this tree is the backbone of builds. I recommend getting
Jotunn's Wrath as it has very good damage stats, as well as a high cooldown reduction that you can capitalize on as a stance switcher with many abilities. In the latter builds, I didn't add it as those builds already have 30-40% cooldown reduction but if you feel like the early cooldowns would help, you can definitely replace
The Crusher with
Jotunn's Wrath if you prefer.
Hydra's Lament is also a very common occurrence as well because of its passive. Dealing additional basic attack damage after every ability cast is a stance switcher's dream, and with many abilities, Phobos and Deimos are sure to make great use of this item! I think it should be a core item in almost every damage build that you have.
Heartseeker and
Titan's Bane are both late game items that will significantly increase your damage output, giving you percent penetration and allowing you to output even more damage.
Heartseeker's passive of dealing bonus damage per ability based on the enemies maximum health is sure to amplify your damage greatly. There is also the option to build
Transcendence first as it comes with a lot of great stats for Phobos and Deimos. Power, mana, and cooldown reduction (at max stacks), are all stats that will benefit Phobos and Deimos greatly. Also, the additional 10% cooldown reduction will allow you to easily reach 40% without building
Jotunn's Wrath which leaves more room for other items with helpful passives. Speaking of such,
Soul Eater is also a common item seen in these builds. Naturally, as a stance switcher, Phobos and Deimos have more abilities than normal and because of this, they benefit more from certain items. The ability lifesteal from
Soul Eater is guaranteed to have great effects on them as they will be able to sustain themselves quite well with their large arsenal of abilities. Similarly,
Bloodforge will also help with sustain and procing the passive health shield can help in dire situations of low health or having one stance dead, or even becoming a greater threat during your ultimate. These lifesteal items also synergize well with the passive effect from their third ability,
Instill Fear/
Spread Terror, in
Deimos's stance which gives passive lifesteal. Finally
Spirit Robe is a good option as a last item for a little bit of protections, cooldown reduction, and survivability. This item can also be replaced by
Mantle of Discord depending on which item is better for the current match. Also, for this build and every consecutive build, any of the
Mace tree items can be replaced by
Brawler's Beat Stick if any antiheal is necessary in the match.
