This whole tread is people with the same opinions trying to say they have different opinions. Seriously
Look at what everyone wrote and try to look what all of them have incomen.

All agree that there are oversexuallised gods from both genders.
All agree that it makes sence to over sexualise them because they are gods.
Now you try to spot the similarities.

Just 1 more question. Where is over sexuallised gods which we already esteblised makes sence because they are gods is a bad thing? Why? Tell me.

Firraria: Difference between sexualization and oversexualization:
1. Does it look cool/can be interpreted as cool?
2. If your mother/father wears it, will it scar your eyes?

If 1 is yes and 2 is no, then it's acceptable.
If 1 is no and 2 is yes, then it's overly sexualized.
Other combinations can be anything.

Note: Overly. I am getting sick of repeating myself. The difference between Athena and Aphrodite is the difference between a lunch date with your sister and having a bottle and a night with her.

I don't really care if all the up coming female gods would be sexualized or not. All I want is a bikini suit/skin for each female god! Is that to much to ask?

Or the fact that most of the male characters are huge and strong jock-types? Isn't that kind of sexualizing?

Hercules fits the theme of a bulky, tanky, incredibly masculine man. Him having his shirt off is to only show this.

It's basically the same as Anubis in a sense. He also has his shirt off, but it shows a thin, bony structure. This makes him looks like a rotting corpse, since he is the god of the dead.

Apollo pretty much has no reason to be shirtless other than sexualisation.

Also, one thing I'd like to mention.

Bakasura is sexualised. We generally considered something to not be sexualised if it has a theme, or if it ties into how they are portrayed in mythology. Bakasura is generally portrayed as a chubby, big man. However, in smite, he's a lean, muscular humanoid. That means that Bakasura actually is sexualised, because there is no real reason for him to have a body like that. Maybe he works out?

Your arguement is that sexuality goes hand in hand with role. For instance, a tank would not be sexualized due to their attire requiring considerable durability, while an assassin may be otherwise.

When you examine the overall pattern of the god's designs, your argument falls apart like wet tissue paper! If Ne Zha is wearing light, fantasy-esque yet actual clothing, then why does Neith fight in...whatever the hell she is wearing? Why is Apollo the only male hunter who is sexualized? Why is Artemis the only hunter who is not sexualized?

The facts are clear. An overwhelming majority of the male gods' clothing do corrospond with role, however, only a few are sexualized! An overwhelming majority of the female goddesses' attire are sexualized AND do not correspond with role! Artemis is far more heavily armored than most of the goddesses, so why is she a carry instead of a bruiser?

Furthermore, there is a large difference between the design of the clothes and the design of the god, and you keep deviating from my original point. I would never considered Zhong Kui as a whole as sexualized, because he is hideous! But no one can deny that Arachne is sexualized, despite being Spiderwoman!

Do you have a response?

And no, this wasn't posted because of Hel's rework. This had a long time coming.

Is it that hard to just express your arguments without coming off as a complete arsehole?

Actually, MadDanny, that sounds hilarious. Artemis in a bikini, and her special voicepack and jokes/taunts make her sound incredibly pissed off. Think of all the comedic potential!
