That is actually a pretty good idea! Like we could just have someone to contact HiRez, tell them that we are cleaning up the site and just explain what we are doing to better the site.
And then they might advertise us when we got it sorted out ("check out the new and improved Smitefire" or something like that).

After that we could do as you are talking about (sending small summaries about what is going on here on the forum and new guides etc), if they are interested. That might get HiRez to feel that we are actually a site that are useful and then we could maybe get some more respect :P

We need a plan to make smitefire in a good name. Any of you have any idea how to fix this like having more community service or something? What are the plans for smitefire mowen?


Note : And i really want this because Smitefire is the one that makes me like this today, i am different before and after meeting smitefire. I became more happy and more. I just really want to help


I have another vague idea and it wont find much buyers. First I will share that then give the reasoning:

idea: Put a small optional donation corner on the site. 90% of the money collected shall be given to recognized NGOs the world over who work to educate needy children and dropouts bcz of money issues, 5% to Hi-Rez and 5% to run this site. No individual profits.

Why! tats too silly and stupid: I feel very bad when people from outside the gaming world see us as crazy junkies. The kind of work this site does is a lot bigger than meets the eye. Some people out here r really talented and dedicated towards wat they do. The idea would give them good purpose. They can tell everyone about their work and tat they in a way also contribute to the society and gaming is not meant to spoil people. We don't crave for affiliation from Hi-rez. But need respect for whatever effort we put in.

Why NGOs the world over: I wont recommend this for any other game but smite has universal appeal and global span. We have gods/characters from almost all religions and major countries in the world and ,hence, they r and the game is directly connected to the people.


I can back this idea with thousands of other arguments.

SmiteFire & Smite
