That's one of the flaws we find with TierMonster: it has a target audience that consists of a rather small fraction of the playerbase. And if my experiences in solo queue are anything to go by, it's that there are a lot of players who really do not know how to play their given roles.

Think of it like this: it's like trying to explain exponents to someone without an understanding of how multiplication works. Players cannot possibly expect to get better from reading guides that expect them to know things they don't even understand in the first place.
Waiting on a good new MOBA, please.

Actually, you do.

Are you picking up the Focused Voidblade because you need protection? Or because you need penetration?

If you need both, is it truly ideal to take it over having The Executioner and a Witch Stone, for example?

So what if you already know that lets say Thor needs both the penetration from focused voidblade and the protection. And on top of that you know that The Executioner is a waste because you initiate with your skills and therefore you need flat and % penetration. You might even take witch stone as well for extra protections and the aura if you are up against a fed physical enemy.

So again I stat that a player that knows all this do not need a guide to tell him this. But for ppl who do not know that needs it explained and would learn a lot of a in depth guide.
Some ppl just follow a build blindly without know why they use the build they do, that is ofc wrong.

And that is why Smitefire is targeted more for newer players, and therefore it is super important that the guides that actually are put out on the site needs to be well written and actually be good.

Problem is, when someone new ask in reddit like this : "hey, i'm new, can soneone help me, i've seen some guides in smitefire" and there will be that one comment that got upvoted to heaven saying "hi, blablablabla.... oh, yeah, use tiermonster, don't use smitefire, it sucks"

Well you are right, but they wont get better if they follow guides that are misleading (?) them either.
i still think smitefire is better for begginers but sometimes i just have the feeling some ppl her dont understand the current meta.

Don't try to compare our guides to tiermonster because THEY said THEIR's are better than ours.

We have our own way to make guides. They have their's.

Ya. A good guide needs to explain both the basic and the advanced reasons you do what you say. If you don't, you'll have new players using the god incorrectly, and advanced players questioning its worth. It's bad both ways - for the former, I don't want to see another Thor/ Fenrir lane again (which I have seen way too much in lower levels), and for the latter, you're repelling that build to an extent from good players. Who knows, maybe it's the best possible build, and you just shunned them away from it?

In short, we need to be more n00b AND pro friendly.

Tiermonster also has everyone big supporting it, like PonPon posting his Teaching Thursdays stuff on there, Drybear streaming on the TierMonster stream every now and then, etc. etc.

I don't know why but I REALLY hate meta. I mean, I think jungle tank is better and more but most people only hear what is mainstream.

Like when I played LoL, I think Lux build with the right team composition is better than kassadin

SmiteFire & Smite
