Yeah, like Pudding said, they're just appealing to an audience. Just like how you can occasionally find a McDonalds or Playstation commercial with a woman with breasts the size of continents. It's because they realize a large part of their demographic is gonna find the enormous breasts appealing therefore promoting their actual content better.

Awilix more like aw-i-likes



On her abilities, I agree with what sub said - I applaud her uniqueness in counter-jumping. Very weirdly unique. However I think she may be too overpowered as an assassin. With her jaguar you basically have to outdps her or use your escape, which is immediately her ult. It means gods like Apollo can prolly wreck her, and gods like neith or anhur have 0 chance against her. It means she's either a must ban or must pick around in ranked, but in blind pick, it means if you pick anhur, neith, etc, you are signing yourself up to die. Yes, her stats compared to other assassins are average, but she has basically guaranteed damage. I might have to see her in action but I'm thinking how a fight goes and it seems like either they have to just box it out, or die.

True, but I think her ult+jaguar+an AA or two (I expect she'd build Hydra to fill in the burst void) would be enough to assassinate someone with 0 defensive items like an ADC. She won't burst warriors or light-guardians like some assassins can, but she can certainly kill some mages or hunters with ease.

Speaking of which, since there are SO few mages who can be airborne, can you ult Ao Kuang while he's ulting someone for the execute? How does it impact full-aerial abilities like Apollo, Thor, AK, Nu Wa, Rama, etc?

Women do play video games. I think this is more reflective of HiRez's artistic capabilities. That, and Awilix is Mayan and somehow still white. I mean, come on? Chaac is dark, indigenous - he fits the profile of a Mayan God. The least you can do when designing a God based off of mythology real, actual people worshiped is make sure they're aesthetically correct. But that's an entirely different problem I could talk for hours about.

I just want to see a Goddess where sex appeal isn't even a thought in her design. Even Arachne, a literal spider, has a highly sexualized torso. You can argue Scylla, but I mean... she's a little girl. I'm talking grown woman Goddess that doesn't give a **** if you think she's attractive. And some people do pull that whole 'but in mythology most gods were naked anyways!' but if we used that example, we better start stripping the Gods too.

I'm not a fan of assassins so I'm not going to speak on her abilities. I'll withhold my judgment on that.

I'm a woman. I love playing Smite. I just wish they'd look a little bit closer at their designs of goddesses.

My point is - if HiRez can't design a Goddess without the no clothes make titty wobble physics, honestly can't, I'm side eyeing them hard.

As for her, ahem, clothing, i don't see a proble with that. Mayans aren't known to wear sophisticated armor or clothing. Their culture isn't like Rome's or Greece's. Heck, she's lucky she got any clothing at all. Then again, covering her in jaguar skin would be too Xbalanque-ish and not too lore-conforming, since she got a panther.

A little trivia : "Suku" is an Indonesian word meaning "Tribe".

I really don't understand WHY DID THEY HAVE TO GIVE THE NEW GOD A FREAKING ANIME VOICE.... I really don't understand. It doesn't fit her in any way, what were they even thinking. Everytime they do something good they must also do something bad to compensate for the good.

Serqet nerf which I don't really care about, I got her to diamond, probably never going to play her again. Still sad she got nerfed because ****heads won't beads her 2 or aegis her ult/1.

Vulcan nerf. Baffles my mind why he got nerfed, he was considered trash tier not long ago, when did he got buffed that I don't know of.

Vamana nerf, couldn't care less.

Ao nerf, don't care as well, got used to 2k damage in one second and so did enemy Kuangs to my aegis.

Nox' "rework" doesn't make her any less boring. I still think shadow barrier has no place in her kit. At least now she's got SOME CC.


P.S. Not posting this in the news because it's 1 AM here and I am way to tired to format this properly at this point, gonna do it tomorrow if no one will until then.
