Art thou all disturbed in thine mental crevices? Ao Kuang is easily the best solo.

2v1? No problem. Play defensively and focus on taking minion waves until the jungler or another ally can gank.

Pushing well? Keep pushing that ****.

Granted, he has no "survivability", unless you can play smart.

Do you have Arachne on your face? Ult. Is Fenrir using Brutalize? Ult.

AO KUANG IS BEST SOLO!

Check out my Artemis Guide and my Ao Kuang Guide!

I have had some real success at Chang'e solo lane. plenty of poke and sustain. plus if you get in trouble you can use your 2 to get away

Odin is great with his passive HP5. Ra is good. Neith is a good one too with her "ranged kali heal" and just being ranged in the first place. Herc is amazing with his Mitigate Wounds. Guan is good. Hades is good. Usually anyone with a heal is good.

I was solo laning a team with now jungler, so 2v1 against Vulcan and Tyr and Ra is just so good at pushing the lane, you shouldnt have to worry about getting ganked by the 2 in your lane (just want enemies from the jungle).

My opinion? Experience. Choose a god who've you had experience with in the solo lane, and use them.

Otherwise, I find a lot of mages to be succesful solo laners. I will give my top 10 list for solo laners:

1.) Hel (Surprised? don't be.)
2.) Ra
3.) Loki
4.) Odin
5.) Poseidon

Neith,Loki,Ra are my 3 choices when i solo

Neith bcuz she has an escape and clears a wave with 1 and 3

Loki because you just buy heartseeker asap and get 50 stacks while staying under your tower and just use decoy when the wave comes and kill them all with a single decoy and adding stacks to your hearseeker

Ra - well he's got his beam, slow, heal and ulti and his passive which makes him run reeeally fast. Try towerdiving him and he just dances around in his heal while slowing you

I'll take Ra solo, mid or duo anyday. I should start jungling him. Actually, don't waste my time with duo lane. I solo against two people all day long.

Loki is really good solo. Neith and Hades take a little more work. Hel is good but put her duo lane and that lane will push when you didn't think it was possible.

With Ra and Loki, I laugh against most opponents, especially those that are melee. Need ranged solo lane or get pushed. Think Loki is an oxymoron to what I'm saying? Keep thinking that when decoy drops your minions and I'm invisible with ultimate up.

In general though, I'll take a physical ranged for solo lane. Cupid, Xbalanque, Anhur or Neith... Sustain mages second, with Ra being the best solo laner(In my opinion).

Odin can solo lane very good too because he has very high sustain, but i've never seen a good odin.
Favourite Gods:
Loki, Fenrir, Tyr, Xbalanque
Favourite roles:
Jungle, fed Adc

I agree with ICEN on Herc being a strong solo laner. Most I've seen usually go a defensive item first. Usually the defensive item is giving protection against who he's laning with.

I was fighting a Herc as Anhur and couldn't do much against him due to the fact that his first two items gave him phy protection. I could blow my entire load on him and still only get him down to half, then he'll use his heal to get his health back up.

Also, mages short lane will have the same problem as mages mid lane. Most don't have any escape. Take Ao Kuang for example. Every time I have faced him short lane on Apollo; I won easily. It will come down to him either wasting his whirlwind on minions or me. If he goes for minions, I can just poke him down. If he uses his whirlwind on me; I can escape before the dot effect happens. Then he'll be stuck with an untouched minion wave.

If he turtles tower, I can pretty much harass nonstop and then slip into the jungle to grab a buff while he kills off my minion wave.

The only four mages I ever really have problems with are Zeus, Chronos, Agni, and Freya.

Three of them rely more on their basic attacks instead of abilities. Agni is a problem due to him having a lot more survivability with his dash.
