It may be complicated, but its the only thing I think will work.

Currently, Gem has the problem of applying equally to abilities that already have slows and abilities that affect whole teams. I mean, come on, Freya's 50% slow is ridiculous. And I don't want Guan Yu to have a 45% slow on his ultimate.

  • Pestilence
    I'd like to see this item get its passive buffed. Counters should usually overpower their parallels that buff, because with items that grant you benefits you always get the effect where as with counters you only get the effect if the situaiton suits the item. I.e Pestilence and Rod Of Ice cream Rod of Asclepius. So just buff it to 30% healing reduction, and maybe change the cost to 2350.


  • Pythagorem's Piece
    I'd like to see this items' cost reduced, to about 2450 gold. It provides the most lifesteal for a mage but and a good aura but it's too expensive to be as viable as the other main magical lifesteal items; Bancroft's Talon and Polynomicon.


  • mystical mark and telekhines ring
    I do think these items should have their passive deal true damage. Late game telekinesis ring isn't worth nowadays and mystical mark falls as well. If they are items that deal damage with their passive, it should be flat, true damage.

  • Hide of Leviathan and magi's cowl
    I just now looked at the stats of these two items. They are almost identical:
    Both physical and magical protection? check.
    Some health? check.
    20% CCR? check.

    I'd suggest removing magi's cowl.
    As for Hide of Leviathan; I'm not really sure about this one. I'll let Subzero and the guy who read the future to get on this one. But, just throwing an idea to the air for a defense item, put it in wherever you want to; Passive - Enemy gods cannot lifesteal from you.



    I'd also like to see kills count towards stacks for Heartseeker and Doom Orb like they do on Book of Thoth.

No, this isn't a debate. We just list suggestions,

and not contest them. If something is very, very wrong, we just talk about it, then let it drop. Once an item has been discussed to death, I make a post giving ALL the suggestions the communtiy has offered and putting them all in one post.

Then, once we have met all of our goals, I leave it to a vote.

Excellent suggestion on the Pestilence.

Same for Pythagorum's Piece, it was an overpriced POS that no one bought. 2450 is certainly a reasonable reduction.

But NO NO NO on the Mystical Mark and Telkhines Ring. Firstly, Nu Wa would be ****ing terrifying with AoE true damage on her insanely fast basic attack speed, and second, squishies have less than 2000 health. This means it will take LESS THAN FIFTY ****ING SECONDS JUST BY STANDING NEXT TO THEM TO KILL THEM AT MAX LEVEL! AND ABOUT TEN SECONDS TO REMOVE HALF THEIR HEALTH AT LEVEL 5! Sorry for the capslock, but I felt like this needed some extra emphasis.

Look...I put up the list of goal for a reasons. We can't just toss suggestions in the air and then try to keep track of them later.

How about this.

IF YOU FEEL LIKE AN ITEM HAS BEEN DISCUSSED TO DEATH AND YOU WANT TO MOVE ON, PLEASE SAY SO!

Let's settle it by this; forget what I said about mystical mark and telekhines ring.

Maybe make it so that abilities that has already a slow build in get only 50% of the effectiveness of slow items like gem of isolaiton and Frostbound Amulet with the 10% slow each stack/max 2 stacks.

Summary: Frostbound Amulet/ Gem of Isolation/ Gem of Binding/ Frostbound Hammer.

Guys, you know when I write those "Specifics" thingys? This is like that, and it is a summary of the suggestions that were put down by the community to keep track of later. It is also supposed to signal moving on to the next topic, although if someone has another idea they can certainly put it down, and I'll add it in.
  • HiFromBuddha's Proposed changes to the Frostbound items


  • Make it so that it has a 10% slow for 1.5 seconds for ability hits and max 2 stacks while duration stacks as well, so the final effect is 20% slow for 3 seconds.

    Reason - The slow was nearly unnoticeable. And It did almost nothing (especially for fast gods like Mercury or Bakasura). So, we'll buff it. But the reason I didn't put 20% slow for 2 seconds for 1 ability hit is so that gods with long range poke, like Sun Wukong and his The Magic Cudgel won't be able to slow you from a mile away. That way, gods like Guan Yu will benefit it a lot. THe only thing that I'm worried about is for oidn and his gungir might which might be a little OP considering it'll be a 70% slow. But then again, Ao Kuang's squall applies Gem of Isolation as well.

    (He also says to apply this to other Frostbound/Gem items. (Jordenito)

  • Make it slow by 25%, decaying to 15% if the same ability/basic attack hits a god again in the next four seconds. This removes the ability for gods like Ao Kuang to lock down entire teams with one ability without drastically effecting single-hit skillshots like Death Scythe and flame strike. As for squall, its a problem with the ability itself. (me)

  • Abilities with inherent slows have the slow from Gem/Frostbound be reduced to 10%. (Jordenito)

  • Change the way slow stacking works. Not further elaborated upon. (Sunfall) (This also works with either my or Jordenito's ideas)

I'll add the idea of Gem and stuff into the specifics post, and I'll put mystical mark and Telkhines on the list of foals.
