Well, you see. I find Ullr like a collage of abilities from other gods with no originality on his own aside from being both melee/ranged (although you'll never use the melee stance unless you don't have another option)

Anhur's waveclear, Artemis's poke, an steroid that is just... well, an steroid so "This ability buffs this thing" is not original at all, a mummify kind of hit, and a jump.

So LAME and BORING.

Nu wa was meh but original, Nemesis' double dash and shield thingy with that ult, Geb with the shield and the rolling around, Scylla, well... Not so original but classy with that ult and passive.

Ullr is just some skills from other characters SLIGHTLY changed and there, new god for ya, enjoy.

He can be fun to play, granted. He can be good. But his kit is boring as ****.

Can't say I disagree.
It's like Hi-Rez just combined a bunch of our current hunters and was like "they wont even notice!"

But if you think about it, do they have to change it? I mean it's worked before, why can't Ullr have it and just a bit more, I mean it may not be original but it add Ullr's own flare to it. I'm defending his kit because he's one of my favorite gods, I knew him even before I played SMITE, the same goes with Tyr, I feel I should defend the, (that's my opinion)

Yeah, to be fair, not every god needs a new mechanic...that gets incredibly hard incredibly fast. I do think they should swap things up, but I think his swap between melee and ranged stance is enough uniqueness - no one else does it. Just because there isn't glaring uniqueness, it doesn't mean his design is bad. I personally like him.

Well, that's the problem; there isn't much of a difference between his melee and ranged. You either go to ranged and use your skills to harass, or you swap to melee and use your stun to harass, or to escape. There's no actual melee combat, and there's no smooth "flow" like you see in Hel or Tyr.

He just feels like any other ADC with a few more abilities.

I dislike him because his kit has no synergy and feels out of place, like they just threw in stuff from other hunters and hoped nobody would notice (like Shavul said). He is very basic attack reliant, but he has 6 abilities. He has a stun that he can't really combo of.

Its not like Tyr who can Fearless > Power Cleave > Change Stance > Fearless to keep you in the air for a GOD DAM YEAR long time or Hel who can Hinder / Cleanse > Decay / Restoration > Repulse / Inspire > Switch Stances > Decay / Restoration for a butt load of damage.

Meh hes alright i agree with you he has no "flow" with his abilities like the other stance change norse gods. I qonder if hi rez is going to come with a norse guardian stance change god to complete it

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods.
