PROS
Great lane clear with So Beautiful Awesome Lifesteal and Critical during end game Quick escape using The Moves |
|
CONS
Squishy Bad early game Tanks can be a problem |
Here I will explain the items passives, main stat boosts, and why i believe you should use these items. |
Starter |
|
Great starter can give you good sustain early game and is perfect with Audacity. |
Core |
|
A good choice for movement speed, physical power, and physical penetration. Your not gonna need Ninja Tabi because your not really gonna focus to much on using your skills |
This item is your lifesteal, not only does it give you %10 but gives you another %15 with full stacks! Also gives you a +30 boost in physical power with full stacks. So i say you must have this item! |
Now comes the hurt! As it suggests in the build title it clearly says crit and what says crit more than anything? That's right, Rage. Rage gives you physical power and critical chance which is good but the better part is the passive i suggest grabbing this if you wanna dish out some serious damage. |
You wana dish out more damage well then by all means grab this item. Paired with Rage it will bring your critical chance to %50, and with the passive of Rage %100. So yeah you'll want to grab this item as well. |
With the combined items above you are well on your way to victory, but now you need to finish your build with these optional items. |
Optional Items |
|
This is another physical power and attack speed item with a passive that deals a percentage of the targets missing health as damage. Since the update I believe it's %5 now. |
You'll wanna grab this item if your fighting a tank or two. This item gives you physical power and physical penetration. Its passive also gives you physical penetration. |
You'll also wanna grab this item if your fighting a tank or two. Like Titan's Bane it gives you physical power and physical penetration. Its passive however reduces then enemies healing and regenration by %40 for 8s. Not to shabby eh? |
As stated above these are all optional items, so use whichever you feel is necessary for the situation. This is merely a guide to point you in the right direction.
|
Your Role |
|
Apollo is and ADC, an abbreviation for Attack Damage Carry, which means your gonna be the one on the team that's going to deal large amounts of damage and secure kills along with warriors, mages, and other ADC. You can be alone but remember Apollo is squishy so it's recommended that you have a teammate with you. |
Early Game |
|
Your gonna wanna start off by farming minions and grabbing a jungle buff with some help from your lane partner. If the enemy gods feel like getting brave poke em a bit with basic attacks and So Beautiful. NEVER RUSH THE ENEMY. This is extremely important. Unless you and your partner can secure a kill do not rush. Once you have enough gold go back and buy Warrior Tabi and start building Devourer's Gauntlet. Once your level 5 you should be able to take on jungle creatures yourself so make sure you stay buffed. Keep farming and make it to level 10 and enough gold to finish your Devourer's Gauntlet. |
Mid Game |
|
Mid game is where you and your lane partner are gonna wanna start being a little more aggressive but very careful at the same time. This is about the time everyone get aggressive and the ganking begins. Keep farming and grabbing jungle buffs while you can and try to keep the enemy in check pushing them back to their tower and maybe even trying to land a kill or two. Keep an eye on your gold, health, and mana and return to base if you need to. Also let your partner know that you're going back to base that way they can hold the lane. Pick up your Mid game items and return to lane using Across The Sky, or if you see a lane in trouble drop in on em and save your teammate or teammates. If not resume your assault with your lane partner. |
Late Game |
|
Now here is where we get ridiculous. Keep farming and securing kills where you can and return to base regularly to finish your build. Still be careful You are and always will be squishy. If you get ganked or your teammates die just run. Do not try to be a hero. Now along with your teammates you can easily take out towers, phoenixes and enemy gods if you have a good team. you shouldn't have any problems with a good team and if you really wanna go for that extra push have you and your team grab the fire giant buff which is: +70 Magical Power, +50 Physical Power, 4% health Regen and 2% mana Regen every 5 seconds and 20% damage increase versus Towers and Phoenixes. Can't go wrong with that. |
In conclusion work with your team, you are not strong by yourself and will only feed the enemy if you try. Teamwork is essential in securing a victory and a good game. Oh and one more thing don't argue with your teammates. If they wanna keep talking **** while playing don't initiate an argument and give them a reason to report you. |
Well that about wraps it up for me. I hope you can enjoy this guide and enjoy the build. I want to thank TomentedTurnip for making it easier to write guides, learn the coding for multiple things, and making an awesome template for pros/cons. I also want to thank BestMinionEver for making a beautiful skill template. And finally i would like to thank Jordenito for making an awesome guide for columns.

The sprint no longer removes the penalty for using auto attackas ! should update that !
Necro. Next time please check the date as some of these guide will never be updated.
I don't think that Brawler's Beat Stick should be a core item. In fact, if you list a build with 6 core items, it essentially means that there is't any room for situational items, because core items are items that you cannot give up on.
So, I assume your real core items are Warrior Tabi, Devourer's Gauntlet, Rage & Deathbringer. These 4.
Now, there's a room for the 2 last items. You've listed good alternatives. Titan's Bane could be considered a core item, but sometimes, the penetration & power from Brawler's Beat Stick bests it.
My advice? Keep the core items the 4 items I said, and list the rest as situationals, or maybe divide them. For example: "More Penetration" ( Brawler's Beat Stick & Titan's Bane). "More Raw Power" ( Qin's Sais, Malice & Heartseeker). "CDR" ( Hydra's Lament).
Also, I don't know how I feel about Hydra's Lament, but I rarely play Apollo and I never got this item on him so I can't tell you my opinion.
You don't have to listen to my advice, but that's just my opinion.
Oh, and I suggest you space out a little bit more the skills in the skills section. They seem to tightened up and on top of each other.
Death's Toll costs 800 g & Shoes cost 300 g. That leaves us with 400g. Instead of spending all of it on potions, you can get sprint tier 1 or Purification Beads and a potion of each kind.
Deaths toll is great sustain, I don't think you'll need the pots, but I'm not here to pick apart your build, your guide was pretty good, and you covered all of the areas you need to, so no reason to not up vote. :)
Build is okay. I'd recommend probably an active for starting items instead spending the money left after buying Shoes & Death's Toll.
So instead of potions buy an active? Or replace the shoes with an active?
