Apollo is a physical ranged hunter, usually played as an ADC. His passive allows him to attack faster for 4 basic attacks after enough landed basic attacks have been done. His 1st ability is a single line wave clear that deals damage in a straight line. His 2nd ability is a radial (circle-shaped) mesmerize, which briefly stops enemies while also silencing them. His 3rd ability is a dash that will quickly move him forward a short distance, giving him and his allies a speed buff at the end of his dash. His 4th ability , or his ultimate, causes him to summon his chariot. In this chariot, he can fly anywhere across the map for a certain amount of mana per second. You can click to make him land, and he will deal a radius of damage upon landing.

It's okay, though I would add way more info on all fields, and cut down on those skill icons. Like, a lot. Have a single line of them at the top and bottom of each chapter at most but this is a bit to much of the good stuff.

WIP guide that needs work...still missing almost the most key item (pen of some type as CORE...not "optional." Building Qin's Sais in between Wind Demon and Deathbringer is a bit of a headscratcher...

No mention of Silverbranch Bow in place of Ichaival if facing a magical ADC (welcome back, Chronos per patch 4.2?). At least with the other Apollo guide you called "a joke," they did think of that. And really...there's mostly very little difference in the two builds overall...so not sure at which point you consider the other one absolutely awful compared to this one...

Mid-game mentions it starts around 10 minutes and teammates will begin to rotate...but that's really closer to the 5 minute mark...not 10. Usually.

Will like to see the guide fleshed out a lot more to call it good as a guide, rather than as a build with some quick info. Also ANY bb coding effort of any type will help prevent this from being just a wall of grey text. Since author calls it a WIP I'll reserve judgment.

I figured you'd want to build Wind Demon because you would want some crit chance mid game. You shouldn;t really need any sort of pen or extra damage until later, when team fights begin to happen. As for facing Magical ADC, again, WIP. I will soon. Haven't really looked into BB coding, I'm quite new to this site. Thanks for the feedback!

The whole sequence up til Bloodforge looks great. Generally suggested NOT to go double-lifesteal. If you prefer, you can replace Devourer's Gauntlet late-game with Bloodforge, but they generally shouldn't be present at the same time. The reason is efficiency within the build.

In your final build, you're also really missing out on pen. I'd say normal sequence right now is to get The Executioner immediately after Ichaival, or against a squishy team, maybe delayed until after Deathbringer. Titan's Bane would be another option, probably more specifically on gods with tons of attack speed in a manually activated steroid (like Artemis or Rama).

As for replacing Ichaival late-game, yes Odysseus' Bow is one option, but since Apollo already has a nice steroid, a better option might be Poisoned Star for damage mitigation when boxing, or Malice for the pure damage increase.

Just suggestions.

I know, and that is why I said you can replace Bloodforge with any of the items under optional. I think I'm going to replace it anyway though. I think I'll ad Quin Sans too. Thanks for the feedback!

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
