Hi Guys! My Name Is DucksRock, And This Is Izanami! Izanami is a very unique hunter, designed by both HiRezFish and HiRezAjax, Izanami has a special kit with new mechanics. for starters, her Kamas (auto attacks) act as boomerangs, deal 50% of what a normal auto attack would deal each hit of the boomerang and go through targets (However, only the first target can suffer from on-hit effects such as crit), which balances itself out cause if you avoid one of her boomerangs she misses 50% of her hunter dps. |
She has a very good lane pressure capability, Meaning her early is really really strong. she also a really good teamfight ultimate, a really good clear and an escape with stealth. However, her boxing is bad unless she uses Sickle Storm, she is more of a poker than a boxer, has pretty bad base stats and her stealth is broken by everything. But she still contributes a ton to her team with her massive dps and amazing teamfight potential, now, to the guide itself, i put a lot of work into this. enjoy! |

The only thing I would recommend is adding a couple more items builds, and adding an item guide. I have a default item build for hunters only slightly less aggressive than yours posted, but I'd definitely be interested in trying a couple more builds. I have this strange inkling that you have tried a couple that necessarily didn't fit YOUR play style, but might work for other players focusing on different modes with different play styles; i.e. more assisting hunter and less carry.
Just my observation, and I hope it doesn't detract from how great I find this guide! Keep on swimming, Ducks!
Now, onto the subject of lifesteal, is it really as bad as everyone is making out?
I know the scaling seems bad, but you have the potential for better lifesteal than any other hunter, when farming minions. If you get 6 hits in one throw you'll lifesteal as much as another hunter, so hitting 3 minions with a front and backswing each time, which in my head seems like it would be fairly easy most of the time, will see you life stealing just as well as any other hunter when farming minions.
And on top of that you have the potential for 12 hits per auto per minion wave if you can double hit the entire wave each throw, which would see you getting effectively double the lifesteal of other hunters.
Now that's all well and good for farming, but it's definitely rubbish for boxing sustain.
BUT! Does her 1 convert her autos into normal, full lifesteal, autos? I'm not sure on this yet as I can't be bothered to find out atm.
Because you ideally want to be boxing with your 1 anyway, so if it gives you full lifesteal on basics then lifesteal would be decent for her boxing game, provided you have your 1 available.

This wouldn't be a problem weren't it for the fact that the "ruler" is so large in size (height). This is doable in it's current state, but imagine how much scrolling would have to be done just for those rulers in a full guide.
Furthermore, some of the crucial information could be highlighted using some color. Such as:
"her Kamas (auto attacks) act as boomerangs, deal 50% of what a normal auto attack."
This to make the more important things stand out more and are easier to spot.

Those are just some things that came to mind for me. Do keep in mind that this is my personal feedback and may as such not appeal to others.
I take it the guide isn't finished yet, but so far looking very good!
I can't say much for the actual build itself. I don't use the PTS nor do I plan on doing it. I'll try this when Izanami releases and see if it works wonders then.

If not, you might also want to remove that "In-Depth" part.. Otherwise add a "W.I.P" tag to the title.
I do hope you continue with this. You have a good deal of guide making potential, so I hope you use it for this one aswell!
and yes, i am. currently working on a small project for small guides with a small skills section, items section and gameplay. this will go like the oddesey, so the next one will be like ama, and once they get to the iza one you will see the next update. items section here is almost done but im waiting for the skin to come out.
