Breastplate of Valor and 
Genji's Guard are a very solid option because they give you defense and a lot of Cooldown Reduction, which is great with 
Bastet because you can use your skills with the Ultimate buff more than once.
Spirit Robe is a nice choice if you need some mixed protections along with CD reduction, the extra CC reduction might be useful depending the situation and the damage mitigation with the passive adds a bonus.
Mantle of Discord is almost the same as Spirit Robe, except you get +60 of both protections instead of +40. The passive might help you get out of a sticky situation.
Magi's Cloak is an item you only have to buy if you really need to escape some hard cc or a root and if Beads aren't fast enough to escape everytime. The most common and obvious case is Ares ultimate.

Ancile is ideal against Mages, it has a ton of stats, including CD which is great for Bastet and the silence from the passive can be a lifesaver sometimes.
Shifter's Shield might not seem a strong item at first glance, but when you read the passive you realize it's amazing and works very well with squishy assasins like Bastet.
Void Shield is still a strong item after the nerf, however I'd recommend it especially against Warriors since now the physical protection reduction is percentual.
Runic Shield in comparison to Ancile is more of a defensive item that I'd recommend if you are getting destroyed by mages and besides it also helps your team because of its passive that reduces magical power.

>CD is great in order to be able to throw multiple skills while ulting, gives you a ton of damage since you have your skills more frequently and also having your leap faster makes you harder to kill.
> Penetration is a must.
> Bastet is a very strong character since level 5 so you might wanna start getting kills as soon as you have your ultimate, which gives you insane burst damage.
It's important to remember that a lot of junglers have a better late game than Bastet, but if you do your thing at early mid-game/mid-game you'll be pretty good in late.
Now go kill some noobs and show them how Bastet is able to make hp disappear in a second.
