Thanatos excels in quickly killing enemies and healing from killing them resulting in good in and out capabilities and the strong ability to get easy pentas due to the healing!

When killing an enemy, Thanatos heals 20% of a god's max HP and 10% of a minion's. Furthermore, when killing a god, Thanatos will receive a 5 second cooldown on all his abilities. |

This ability is your glass cannon. With enough practise you should be able to hit it most of the time. Not only does this ability deal insane damage even in early game, you also heal 75% of the damage dealt! |

Scent of Death allows Thanatos to increase his movement speed up to 60% and also deal up to 35 more penetration. |

|
Soul Reap is an ability that allows Thanatos to silence enemies hit for 1 second (while also dealing up to 300 damage plus 70% of your physical power). This ability enables Thanatos to chase gods with stealth abilities or secure kills on healers. |

The ultimate ability of Thanatos is Hovering Death. Thanatos rises up into the sky for up to 5 seconds. In the sky Thanatos gains 150% movement speed to chase down enemies or retreat from battle. When landing Thanatos can land on an enemy to deal up to 230 damage (plus 80% of your physical power), stun an enemy for 1 second, and finally... if under a certain health threshold depending on the ultimate's level... Thanatos can execute an enemy. |
