You really counter Loki hard. You have a wide-cone silence, an escape if needed, an AOE lifesteal/damage ability, and an Ultimate that utterly shreds him.

Situational Items: Pestilence for anti-heal
Magi's Cloak situational, swap for Mantle of Discord
Help ADC by capitalizing on low opponents: silencing, slowing, and his vortex ult
Everything but the Build titled Joust is for Arena
Pros:
-High burst damage
-High mobility for a mage
-Capable of reducing enemy protections
-Mild crowd control
-High sustain
Cons:
-Minimal health pool
-Heavily reliant on abilities
-Vulnerable to Crowd Control
-Has to get close
Main Shredder: This is definitely a glass cannon. With only Bancrofts and Devour Souls for sustain, this build has no other defensive or sustain items. Although, with maximum CDR, Spear of Deso, and Chronos' you will be getting abilities back very quickly.
Shoes of the Magi-Pen boots are nice on Hades in this build, since a lot of it is focused on Magical Power and CDR
Chronos' Pendant-This is a shredder build, and because Hades is so reliant on his abilities, 20% CDR and Chronos's passive are very useful to maximize their use
Bancroft's Talon-I feel like Bancroft's is very good on most mages, and because Hades has to get close, scaled lifesteal is helpful-especially synergized with his Devour Souls healing
Spear of Desolation-A big CDR item with 10% reduction and a helpful passive. It also provides needed penetration to the build
Shaman's Ring-Hades is very slow, so the 10% Movement Speed is helpful to get him on par or close to other gods. It also has high MP and a passive that fits very well into his combos
Rod of Tahuti-One of the highest Magical Power stats in SMITE, and its passive main use is fitting into your ultimate combo-after you use all other subsequent abilites
Situational Divine Ruin-Suggested by Boogiebass, for anti-heal and tanks
Alt Shredder: The biggest difference between the Shredder Builds is the increase in Magical and Physical Protections. This is a build that still focuses on damage, but has some defensive items.
Core Items:
Breastplate of Valor-
Void Stone-
Spear of the Magus-I would count this as a core item in this build. This build has less magical power than the main, but it has more penetration, and Spear of the Magus is a great tool for quickly reducing enemy protections. It's drawback is its passive only applies to damaging ABILITIES, not basic attacks. This means you can only get 60% value out of them item. But, it's still a strong item when paired with other penetration/debuff items like Void Stone
Guardian Mage:
Alt Guardian Mage:
Joust:

Would you like me to add Item Explanations for all builds? Out loud, it seems like an obvious yes, but I felt people mostly agreed on everything but the main build so that's what I focused on.
If you do it, would be very nice, so everyone can understand WHY and WHEN the chosen items work or not.
About the early game, I will put just my opinion here: I don't think his early game is weak, you can consider not strong but definitely not weak. I understand the points you put here, that's why it is not strong but there are so many worst early games.
I don't know if this is useful, but if you intended to explain in a better way the things on your guide but keeping it somehow short, you could use some spoilers like I do in my Ratatoskr Guide, you just have to use this:
And it will show like this:
That said, the length of the writeup is your decision, and short ones can be great for quick reference. You don't have to necessarily write up something complete for each build, but you might explain here and there on the strengths of each build.
For example, you have a writeup for each item in your "Hard Shredder" build, and you explain that it's a glass cannon, doesn't have lifesteal, etc. But you don't say what mode it's for, you don't talk about the strengths/weaknesses of the alt build, and you don't talk about any of your other builds. That would be a good start.
And you don't have to talk about each item, but identifying core items, and those that would be situational alternatives (and when/why to build them if you sub them in) would also be helpful.
In the tank build, your Mantle of Discord is in there too early. It's a pretty expensive item. You may be able to get away with it in Arena, but it might be a bit harder in games like Clash/Siege.
Also, I appreciate you letting me have my own personal preferences and choices in the build, but for something like that, Good is Good, Bad is Bad. I'm sure Kreiga1 would agree-admittedly he would probably be less constructive than you (No offense intended)
No, I don't agree.
I also don't make statements like:
- As we know Hades isn't an adc nor does he feel like one, im not sure what you were going for here.
- Rod of Tahuti is for both ability based and auto-attack based gods. So again im not sure what your point is here.
You also stated he has "High burst damage" as a pro without mentioning thats quite reliant on enemy positioning and teammate positioning. In a 1vs1 he doesen't really have that much burst.
You listed a pro as "Weak early game clear" - is his clear really that weak?
Ok so for the hard shredder, main build, you only hve +15 penetration from Spear of Desolation. At the very least, I would get Shoes of the Magi also. Maybe even consider replacing Shaman's Ring with Divine Ruin for more pen and anti heal. Also, Rod of Tahuti is mostly gonna help you finish off an enemy with your ult. May or may not help as much with your 1 and 3. Otherwise, the build, although a bit TOO squishy, seems fine for glass cannon.
For the alt build, you have no physical protection. Depending on how tanky enemies are building, may consider exchanging Spear of the Magus or Rod of Tahuti with Breastplate of Valor for more CDR. If you end up doing that, you may also consider getting Shoes of the Magi instead of Shoes of Focus.
For the tank builds:
In the main build, list Pestilence as a situational option. In the alt build, Hide of the Urchin is in there too late. You may just consider getting Mantle of Discord because you only have 10% CDR in that build.
Gulf, can you check if I left anything out?
Also, it's good that you aren't just accepting everything I tell you. If you disagree with something, please feel free to speak up. This is a discussion after all :)
I feel we definitely have a lot to learn from each other.
Also, how do you highlight the items and make it so you can view their stats? I tried to copy the correct spelling, but that didn't work.
Also, consider assassin's like Bakasura and Fenrir. If your 1 is down and Bakasura ults you, you aren't gonna slow him down. You're done. If Fenrir Brutalizes you, it doesn't matter if you slow him down, he'll still follow you around for the duration of Brutalize.
Your strategy is shut down by Winged Blade or a support building Heavenly Wings. Multiple movement speed items could also counteract this. You won't be hard to catch since you don't have boots.
