Potions are optional. I tend to go out with 3 health and 1 mana pot.
I build Ninja Tabi off my first back instead of my 2nd item to help get my AS and power up a little early. You can finish Asi before boots, but I don't tend to unless i need some lifesteal. Pots are optional depending on how you walked out of the 1st laning phase.
The build may look like it doesn't hit hard. But let me explain.
Asi has pen and lifesteal.
Ninja Tabi has high early game AS.
Fail-Not Is super great with Artemis because her ult is a stun, and it's easy to proc the passive. 100-0 someone by yourself really quick and easy.
Deathbringer for good crit damage.
Wind Demon to hunt down enemies running away.
Sell Hunters Blessing for The Executioner to help shred tanks apart late game.
Sell Boots and buy Poisoned Star to help reduce output damage and slow the enemy for easy pickings.
Atalanta's Bow can help run down enemies if the need does arise or if you want to be greedy. Works well with Wind Demon
Bloodforge has amazing power and good Lifesteal and a nice passive in team fights if you aren't sustaining too well.
Elixir of Power and Red Buff along with Potion of Physical Might will really bring up your damage and really secure kills.
Malice has a nice passive to help keep abilities online. *not including ult*
Odysseus' Bow for more AS *keep note of your 2nd ability because it literally is AS on steroids*
Qin's Sais for more tank shredding.
Toxic Blade for anti heal. *Works with your 2*
Purification Beads and Aegis Amulet are the basic go to in any situation. Other relics are situational and not recommended for every match.
Conquest early game is always fun. Farm and farm and farm even more. Maybe get a kill or be killed time to time. Go to the duo lane and use your 3 to help clear waves on lvl 1. If you start to out-clear the enemy team, start pushing forward and keep dropping your 3 on a god. I tend to focus a god really hard with my support to either kill them or make them back to base. When you hit level 3 and get your traps, place traps across the lane. The traps have helped me secure kills several times because they aren't aware the trap is in their way and they walk into it. I place traps in or near the minion waves and 1 trap inside their tower radius *see attacking tab to know what I'm talking about. After you get 1550 Gold, you should back to base if the time is right and grab Ninja Tabi and other items you may need for the 2nd out of base. Once you are back in lane, keep farming and looking for windows to either kill or steal purple buff.
If you are being out-cleared, look for every chance to farm and work with the support and jungle to gank your lane and force them out of your lane for a short time. Wards are always your best friend and you should ward in the openings of your lane. Don't worry if you aren't doing to hot early game because your damage really starts to come online after you grab Fail-Not.
After 10 minutes and you are ahead in lane, look for tower kills and stealing buffs from the enemy team. Stealing their purple is a start, but be looking out for their red buff and their back XP harpies. Gold fury is always a thought in my mind and should be talked about around this time. If you somehow get a sub 8 minute tower, rotate to mid lane and help the mid lane secure kills or towers. Always be on the lookout for ganks and chances to push the enemy team back to base. Don't try to secure a kill if the enemy runs under tower unless your support pushes them out of the tower or brings them close to the edge of the tower radius. If you are at 30% or higher health with a healer. you should be fine because Asi has good life steal and minions are a fast way to heal. Gods such as Aphrodite or Hel are great to heave heals if you are low. Any lower Health and I would start thinking about backing to base to heals.
If you are behind in your lane, be ready to start getting kicked out of your tower. Don't try and run away from the fight, but instead defend the tower and ask for ganks or find windows to attack. Your ult is a game changer if you are able to keep on one target. Your ult also can be a way to gain separation from the enemy team if you are pushed up too far. Just play it out and see what happens.
After 17 minutes or later, Late Game starts to be a thing. Your damage is high, you can push towers and get easy tower kills, and you can really deprive the enemy team of their camps. I tend to steal their red, purple, and XP camps most often because I don't usually rotate to the Solo lane. You can get the Pyromancer by yourself if you feel string enough about it (just be careful of your health and enemy ganks looking at Pyro). I would also talk about Fire Giant if you really want to get the enemy team in a pickle. Push the phoenixes as much as you can. Start mid lane and then rotate lanes to get the phoenix kills. Your AS is the biggest advantage to your team because you shred the phoenixes and towers late game and can help secure kills. Traps should be placed where team fights are going to happen and use your ult to mass stun the enemy team and look for the chance to decide the team.
If you are behind, Just hope you can get some key point kills like taking out their ADC or Jungle and then get small farm from enemy waves pushed up and back farms such as speed or XP camps. Your ult can turn a team fight around, but make sure you are using it to the full extent. Tusky has an area where he charges to nearby gods, so make sure you can at least get 2-3 gods with it and keep an eye out for the Fail-Notproc and target that god. You can deal really large amounts of damage from ult/2/3 combo to gods without protections. If you can turn the table, then deprive the enemy team of camps and be careful pushing waves. YOU ARE NEVER TRULY ALONE.
This is my 1st God Guide so I Apollogize if it wasn't the best guide. I know people are gonna have disputes about my build (especially on Asi over Devourer's Gauntlet) but it's just what works for me and to help people start thinking about other build options.

It synergizes well with her passive. Only question is when? (Prolly after Fail-Not for now)
Other option is Frosbound hammer if you don't want to rely on RNG
Artemis has an AS buff in her 2, which comes in handy around the 2nd or 3rd point invested. So maxing out AS kinda negates the reason why she has her 2nd ability. So the trade in for power/crit over attack speed makes sense because you should have that 2nd ability available when you are going into a fight. With her, I try to keep my attack speed below 2.1 because of her 2. And with Dev gauntlet over Asi makes complete sense because of the power and life steal it offers. But I feel like Asi is slept on because of the passive and pen it offers. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You have some good points, but I also have my reasoning to.
Trans, Boots (Replace to Quins), FB, Asi, RF, Exec
Sounds really bad, not to mention no Fail-Not :P . Maybe a good cheese build for +30% DMG.
