This is your standard Sun Wukong Solo build. Upgrade Bluestone Brooch from
Bluestone Pendant at level 20.
An alternative to Gladiator's Shield could be
Breastplate of Determination.
Bluestone Pendant is the only viable starter option for Sun Wukong. Start with either
Spiked Gauntlet and
Healing Potions or
Chalice of Healing and
Multi Potions
Upgrade Bluestone Brooch from
Bluestone Pendant at level 20.
An alternative to Breastplate of Determination could be
Gladiator's Shield.
An alternative to Genji's Guard could be
Bulwark of Hope.
An alternative to Hide of the Nemean Lion could be
Spectral Armor.
Upgrade Bluestone Brooch from
Bluestone Pendant at level 20.
These are all alternative or situational defence items that can work on Sun Wukong to counter the enemy team or not feel as weak into certain comps/items.
They do NOT need to be built every single game.

Corrupted Blink Rune and
Temporal Beads are the main two that you will be picking up, the others do NOT need to be built every single game.
If you're in a difficult match up max level The Magic Cudgel for better wave clear instead of
Master's Will.

Also, I think its better to get genji before shifters for the mp5/mid fights and imo shifter sorta falls off late game when you could be going cad/mantle/void.

Going full tank for the sake of it is kind of a waste of Wukongs true value, being able to dive with damage safely and not die.
The only real differences being:
Beads I have as an option as you can see at the bottom which I do pick up myself fairly often so that is still the same as your build.
The only true difference to your build I have is that I don't have

sure i can survive pretty well but mid to late game i can't do enough damage I ended up having to switch half the items out in order to kill someone so i didn't getting bullied.
