If whoever you're primarily diving has less than 108 physical protections, sell your boots for The Crusher. If they have more than that, sell your boots for Titan's Bane. If you need anti heal, sell your boots for Brawler's Beat Stick.
Sell your boots for Titan's Bane. If you need anti heal, substitute Arondight for Brawler's Beat Stick.
Get Purification Beads first if you need it vs your lane opponent or the enemy jungler but usually, you'll go Blink Rune.

Sun Wukong is a unique warrior who plays and builds much differently than the others. While warriors tend to build tanky, Wukong works well with damage as he's already extremely safe and it makes his job as a solo laner to dive and kill the backline much easier. He tends to buy a couple of pure damage items each game. Wukong also lanes differently. While warriors usually trade in lane and try to out pressure each other, as Wukong it's much better to spend as little time in lane as possible, and only be there for the wave. Sun Wukong's try to invade camps, proxy waves, and free farm. They use their mobile and safe kit to farm without interruption until team fights start.

The Soul Eater variation is a build that allows Sun Wukong to easily hyper farm in the early and mid-game. You will be constantly full health so getting whittled down by minion waves and jungle camps isn't a problem. Soul Eater isn't a great immediate power spike once you buy it but once you stack it, it's a very strong item. The sustain will make you impossible to kill. This build is solid and will make any beginner Sun Wukong players' time a breeze. | The Arondight variation is a build that goes directly into Shifter's Shield because the power lets Wukong clear and farm faster, while the protections let him trade better with the enemy solo laner. You will win a 1v1 with any god in the game at this point in the game. Arondight is bought later on when damage items are more relevant in solo because that's when we're team fighting and diving backliners. Arondight's passive works well with Somersault Cloud and ensures no one can escape. This build is for when you're comfortable without extra sustain in lane or when you plan to fight your lane opponent more than passively farming. |
Start off by buying Bluestone Pendant and Chalice of Healing. Get two Healing Potions and Blink Rune.
Go to speed buff at the start of the game. Clear it as fast as possible and then head to mini harpy camp. Your jungler will be on the bigger harpy camp and will pull them towards you. You will use The Magic Cudgel on both camps. After both camps are down, head to blue. Clear blue then Blink Rune to wave.
In lane just focus on clearing. You're not there to brawl with the enemy solo laner, you're there to take the free farm from the minion waves that march down the lane every 30 seconds.
Once you get Warrior Tabi you have the freedom to move around the solo side of the map so you can do harpy camps and proxy. Invading the enemy blue is good if you have pressure but check where the enemy jungler is before. You could be walking into a 1v2. You want to play passively and get all the farm you can until you get Shifter's Shield. Then you can proxy and look to kill the enemy jungler on their back camps or gank the mid laner.
As the solo laner and frontline during team fights, you want to be initiating for your jungler and pressuring their backline so they're not free casting onto your team. As Sun Wukong you build more damage than defense so be careful to not take too much damage while initiating. Wukong's goal is to get to the enemy mid or adc, use all three abilities on them, remember to auto-attack cancel, and then box them until he gets to just over half health or until they die. If you get low and can't finish them with autos, use Somersault Cloud, heal back most of your missing healh and as you land on the backline, your abilities will be almost up. The second round of Sun Wukong's abilities will be able to kill if the damage from Somersault Cloud didn't. Wukong's slow from Master's Will and his knock-up or stun from 72 Transformations is good setup for your backline. This also can keep an out of position enemy in place while your team converges on them, or peel for your teammates.
Use your ultimate Somersault Cloud after you've used your 3 base abilities so that they're on cooldown while you heal and they'll almost be up once you land.
After you slow an enemy with Master's Will, hitting them with the tiger from 72 Transformations is really easy. It's a good combo because the tiger can be hard to confirm on enemies and does a lot more damage than the ox.
Poking the enemy through the wave with The Magic Cudgel is an easy way to get free damage on the enemy solo laner and it adds up quickly.
Remember that your minions' deaths also give you Soul Eater stacks so early on, make sure you stay in range.
The Magic Cudgel can damage things over walls so you can steal the enemy blue without walking right into the buff camp.
Sun Wukong is a top solo laner. He's extremely hard to kill and has the luxury of being able to build damage in the solo lane which makes him an excellent backline killer in late game team fights. While he can't mindlessly brawl with the other warriors, Sun Wukong is a nightmare for squishies and is the best god for hard carrying games from the solo lane.
"Bang down your mighty cudgel and show off your menagerie of transformations."

Plus your own Wukong Solo build you made doesen't even have Ancile for magical prots, so... not sure what you're going for here?
Thank you!
Other stuff to consider adding:
Mages blessing start, non-soul Eater build example, more situationals like Ancile, Spirit robe, Spectral etc...

Most of the time mages blessing is bad but his abilities hit so hard, and also the 10% CD with Soul Eater and blue buff bringing you to 30% is real nice.
Caduceus shield is not really worth it. And in a true solo build unless you're playing an Assassin or Chaac you should almost never be building 2 true damage items like Brawler's Beat Stick AND Heartseeker; nowhere near tanky enough. Only having The Sledge situational prots, Mantle of Discord, and a single extra prot item (listed as Void Shield or cad shield). Definitely go Void Shield into Oni Hunter's Garb or other way round if magical needed sooner, and have brawlers/heartseeker as one or the other.
Kriega makes a point that although you have more power and damage playing this Soul Eater start, you can still play classic Sun Wukong and have a less risky game.
Ancile is a fine item, it is just very niche. It's great into gods with channelled abilities like Anubis or Raijin and also cancelling abilities like Nox's 1.
