I'm back in SMITE for round 3! I mean that this is my third "returning"... ahem... THE RETURNING OF THE ALMIGHTY Z!
Jokes aside though, I'm wanting to play Conquest, but out of fear that all my lovely babies have been made irrelevant, I need help. I would like to know which gods are mostly relevant in S7, and if much has changed since S6.
Is my dearest Artemis okay? What about sidebae Sol? Beachchef Vulcan?
I checked the... "community" guide for Artemis already and saw not much changed for her buildwise? Is that right? (That'd be greaaaaat!)
Don't know how long I'll be sticking around. That'll mostly depend on how the people behave in this game.
I probably suck now too, it's been a long time since I've played. I wish SMITE had a "you're a baby" mode I could play. .-.
Anyhows, please help a fellow out, yes, you wise SMITE lords? And... Lord...esses?
Also, how have you all been?!
(Cheers)

>"Is my dearest Artemis okay?" - Eh... ok, good? Not really. Definitely near the bottom tier of hunters.
>"What about sidebae Sol?" - Probably worst Mage ADC right now, has decent early pressure, but falls off hard late and has the weakest AA steroid of all the Mage ADCs. Imo from strongest to weakest right now: Olorun > Freya/Chronos > Sol.
>"Beachchef Vulcan?" - Fine... but easy to dive, wouldn't really recommend playing him.
>"I checked the... "community" guide for Artemis already and saw not much changed for her buildwise? Is that right?"
- The community guide is fine, but could do with more options, also Silverbranch is ****, don't build it on her.
Two ways to build Artemis right now,
1. If you think frontliners won't be building Spectral Armor or enemy team only has 1 frontliner:
Start: Hunter's Blessing, Spiked Gauntlet, 2 Healing Potions, 2 Multi Potions.
Build: Ninja Tabi, Bloodforge OR Devourer's Gauntlet, Rage, The Executioner, Deathbringer, From here you have several options, I would recommend Titan's Bane and selling boots/buying Elixir of Speed and getting Asi for last 2 items, but other options include: Toxic Blade, Odysseus' Bow/ Ichaival, Poisoned Star/Wind Demon, Magi's Cloak/ Mantle of Discord.
2. If you think frontliners will build Spectral Armor,
Start: Hunter's Blessing, Spiked Gauntlet, 2 Healing Potions, 2 Multi Potions.
Build: Ninja Tabi, Devourer's Gauntlet OR Bloodforge, The Executioner, Qin's Sais, Titan's Bane, Odysseus' Bow. Buy Elixir of Speed, then sell boots and buy Asi or Toxic Blade or defense or something, or Bloodforge if you didn't get it earlier, or heck maybe Rage for fun.
If I need toxic blade: Boots > bancrofts > Demonic > toxic blade > typhons > tahuti >telkhines.
Here's what Barra builds on him:

Sucks to hear that both Arty and Sol are bottom of the barrel right now. Love those 2 but dying constantly ain't fun either.
Glad that Vulcan still made the list of "Fine", though! The meatballs are still toptier though, nothing beats the meatballs! The taste, the texture, the glory!
Sorry, I meant to put it after Exe in the first build example.
Hope to play a few rounds with ya c:
Sucks to see that Sol is getting beat around because of Freya. Quite disappointing, too, to see multiple characters hurt because of one. Bad balancing imho. Sol was never top pick afaik since they disabled that Poly on her 2, but she was in a decent spot before.
Glad to hear Vulcan is at least somewhat viable, might try playing him again.
Add if you wish!

She was a top pick in early Season 5-ish, and then they nerfed her passive.
