Just wondering if there are any plans for this.
Also, what are you opinions on voice chat being in Smite?

I think it would be a really good thing, I don't see to many reasons why Hi Rez and Riot don't have any real plains to add this to their games. Communication is what wins games, maybe they are afraid of trolls, or not being able to moderate the chat. Because everything you have ever written in chat is logged and recorded for the most part, so that if someone is reported they are able to see if they broke any rules, and thus merit a ban. So maybe that's why they don't want to add a in game voice chat system, because it would be to much to moderate?

Curse set up a thing for LoL. I'd hope they do Smite soon, too. Otherwise, no, and most games don't have an in-game voice chat, so we'll have to resort to Vent/Skype/Raidcall/Etc

Eh...I dunno...I mean, many of the people that play SMITE is unfortunately the age range of Call of Duty. I'm sure we don't want a bunch of nine year old raging on how bad out jungler is; it just gets annoying.

very true, and most of the times I want to talk to some one is because I know them personally or I have played with them many times before. Otherwise every game you get someone who shouldn't have a microphone talking to strangers on the internet, meaning some one who bought their microphone with their tooth fairy money. I Hate playing with nine year olds in any game especially a MOBA, lost more games then I can count due to the ADC/Hunter having bed time

Hi-rez pls no.
I don't want to listen to peoples rage. If they use this voice chat, they'll probably not use the VGS(? can't remember how it's called) system, so you can't really mute them

I feel like this is fine, don't fix what isn't broken :)

HiRez have said that they do not plan on adding a in game voice chat (some time in the last 6 months I think, not totally sure). But who knows what they are planing now that the game is growing and they got Tencent to back them up :p

As long as you can easily just mute someones mic and not totally mute them Im fine with it.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
