General Starting Items. Get Multi-Pots instead of healing if you have a support who is also a healer.
A lot of crit. Wind Demon's passive and your 1 will make sure you have enough attack speed.
Gets great attack speed. Qin's Sais compensates for the missing attack speed you would get from Wind Demon's passive.
Good for Tanks, or really offensive Jungler/ADC. If you are losing, this is a bit safer, but you lose damage output and the ability to chase kills as you no longer have wind demon.
A lot less damage output, but you can still kill tanks and high lifesteal enemies quickly. Use only if the enemy has a lot of healers, because Izanami will shred most characters with her basics, and they wont have time to heal. Works well against Anubis, Aphrodite, and Sylvanus.
A lot of damage, and prevents enemy team from running and healing. You can catch up quite easily, and maintain high damage on tanks. You slightly lose power against squishies, but Toxic Blade gives you Health.
I don't recommend using this. However, if you are dominating early, this helps a lot with rotating and bullying. Asi isn't needed, and you can get a tankier item, or bloodforge if preferred.
Hammers makes you tanky, and allows basics to slow. Get both hammers if the enemy adc is out-damaging you, and there is nothing you can do to fight them. Consider selling the Bows late for a full build. Asi is a great replacement for a lot of items.
Hello, it is TATSUMI420SCOPER. Thus far is the Season 7 Guide I have for Izanami. I will change it accordingly, but most of the items are relevant. Builds are aimed for Conquest as an ADC. If you have played Izanami before, she also works in Mid-Lane, and most of these items are relevant, although I don't have a build for Mid. Build (1) works in Joust, ***ualt, Clash, and most modes besides duel. I can make a Duel or Mid guide if you would like, but this is my first post to SmiteFire. I will explain her abilities, and how to use. Quotes for her abilities are from https://smite.gamepedia.com/Izanami.
In my opinion, Izanami is one of the best hunters currently, for all stages of the game, and helps beginners learn quicker.
"The closer Izanami gets to death, the more powerful she becomes. Izanami gains 4% Physical Penetration for each 10% of her Health that is missing, up to a maximum of 20%. Also, Izanami's Basic Attacks only trigger Item effects on the first target hit per attack." Smite
My own interpretation of this is that Izanami gets Penetration as she loses health, that caps at 20% Pen at 50% health. This stacks great with executioner, and sometimes Titan's Bane. Further, her basics pass through enemies and return, with 75% power passing through, and 35% when coming back. (Yes, 110% power). This helps clear lane really well, so in Duo Lane Izanami and Ymir clear lane really fast.
"For 6s, Izanami throws her kama sickles even faster and more furiously. While active she gains Attack Speed, and her Basic Attacks no longer return to her, instead applying Bonus Damage in addition to 100% of her Basic Attack power per hit." Smite
Attack Speed: 55/60/65/70/75%
Bonus Damage: 5/10/15/20/25
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 Mana
10 second cooldown, it doesn't start until the buff ends. Ability is 6s long, so you can use it aggressively late game. Right Click to end early. Never use on lane. Your basic and 2 will clear lane easily. Great poke and damage, and is your main source of damage in Duo and Teamfights. Be careful how much attack speed you build, because this ability gives 75% at max for 6 seconds.
"Izanami sends forth a demonic visage of herself to strike down her enemies, damaging and Slowing all Enemies in a line.
If an Enemy God is killed while slowed by this ability, future uses of the slow will be increased by 6% per kill up to twice, for a maximum of 30%." Smite
Damage: 65/115/165/215/265 (+90% of your physical power)
Slow: (18% + 6% per Kill)(Max 30%) Lasts 3 seconds.
Cooldown: 14/13.5/13/12.5/12 seconds
Cost: 70 mana
Very helpful for clearing lane, I usually level it twice if dominating Duo Lane. Don't prioritize killing with it unless you have the opportunity (Don't risk losing a kill for 6% slow). This ability also helps catching up to targets and for gods running away. Okay for escaping, but don't rely on it, and use it more late game as it will have a low cooldown, and cost the same Mana.
"Izanami descends into the underworld, becoming Stealthed, and leaps away from her current position.
Taking damage, or firing a damaging Ability or Basic Attack breaks her Stealth." Smite
Duration: 3/3.5/4/4.5/5s
Range: 55
Cooldown: 20/19/18/17/16 seconds
Cost: 70 mana
Used as her escape. At first, its cooldown is very high so don't try to initiate or chase with it unless you can 1v3 the Enemy Team. Enemies can see the direction you travel, so they know the area you are in. The Stealth is okay, but isn't close to Loki's Vanish.
"Izanami summons a dark portal which Damages and Silences all Enemies in range." Smite
Damage: 220/320/420/520/620 (+100% of your physical power)
Duration: 1.5/1.65/1.8/1.95/2.1s
Cooldown: 80 seconds
Cost: 100 mana
Definitely not the strongest ult for a hunter, but it's pretty good. Takes 0.6 seconds before the damage and Silence. Can be used to run away, or attack. Best in a teamfight, or to push enemies into a more powerful ult, but can kill enemies easily anyways.
(2)(4)(1)
Use your 2 to slow the target, ult to silence, and then 1 to finish. Try to hit multiple enemies if possible.
(4)(1)(3)(2)
Ult into 1, than use your escape to position, or help your team if that enemy has ran. If its the last God standing, use it to go in further. Then 2 and basic to confirm the kill.
That is it for my Guide to Izanami (ADC) for this Season. I will make more explain in-depth my item choices and leveling if you want. Thank you for reading. - TATSUMI420SCOPER

Build 1:
Ninja > Devo's or Bloodforge > Rage > Exe > Deathbringer. From here you have several options, I recommend Titan's Bane and Wind Demon/ Poisoned Star as standard but you can also get Toxic Blade, Ichaival/O-Bow, Asi, Mantle of Discord.
Build 2:
This build doesen't look like it knows what it's doing. You have Crit with Qins and not that much attack speed outside your 1 to proc the Qins that well. Only god that uses hybrid crit/qins ok (a Lone Rage for Crit) is Jing Wei. Also if tanks are picking up spectral in your games you shouldn't be building crit at all.
Ninja > Devo's or Bloodforge > Exe > Qin's > Titan's > O-Bow > sell boots for Asi or Toxic Blade or Defense.
Build 3: Anti-heal that early isn't necessary. Also don't recommend Crit without Rage.
Ninja > Devo's or Bloodforge > Rage > Exe > Deathbringer > Toxic Blade > Sell boots for Titan's.
Remove the "Carrying/Kill Chasing" Build, it's just bad.
Trans crit build for Izanami: Ninja > Trans > Asi > Rage > Exe > Deathbringer > Sell boots for Wind Demon/Poisoned or Titan's.
Items you say are "worth trying":
Runeforged - No, Frostbound - No, O-Bow - Yes, Ichaival - Yes (situationally, also competes for O-Bows spot in a build typically), Silverbranch - No, Titan's Bane - Yes, Transcendence - Yes, Asi - Yes.
Also im going to repeat this again, swap the mana pots for multi pots, even if starting tier 1 devo's. Hunter's Blessing, Spiked Gauntlet start doesen't give Izanami any lifesteal early because her AoE auto's have reduced lifesteal, and with Spiked Gauntlet the lifesteal is so small you get basically nothing.
Also I would swap mana pots for multi pots for the starter.
Need to see some Bloodforge and/or Trans with Asi builds cause all of these are just Devo's builds on her.
Only reason I say this is cus you get 9% lifesteal for -10 power, and a shield thats better in late. I usually get both anyways when I get Speed Elixir.
it's all about the 45 power difference when you buy it so you can immediately push an advantage or utilize it in fights, especially against someone that is stacking, although next patch the lifesteal difference is gonna balance out a bit.
Also calculation wise the shield is stronger early because of how damage scales (an early support kill gives you 250+ extra hp which costs ~2-3 basic attacks, while late game the 350-400 shield is gone in 1-2 basic attacks)
No reasons given I see. Like you could at least mention the buff next patch or something.
.... never build Trans with Devos.
You can get lifesteal with Tran, just build Asi for lifesteal like in the build examples I mentioned.
My preffered build is:
Transcendence > Ninja Tabi > Asi > Rage > The Executioner > Deathbringer > sell boots for either Wind Demon, Toxic Blade, Titan's Bane or Mantle of Discord.
(Can swap build order for Exe and Rage if the enemy team is too tanky)
If you're not going crit:
Transcendence > Ninja Tabi > Asi > The Executioner > Qin's Sais > Titan's Bane > sell boots for either Odysseus' Bow, Toxic Blade or Mantle of Discord.
