Bellona dashes forward and bashes with her shield, dealing damage and Slowing enemies. Bellona gains 1 Stack of block for each enemy god hit. Block absorbs all damage from a single Basic Attack and reflects a portion of the damage around her.

Bellona then makes Basic Attacks with sword and shield until she has not taken or dealt damage in the last 7s. Every 3 successful basic attacks she gains another Stack of block (max. 3).

Bellona now makes Basic Attacks with her hammer until she has not taken or dealt damage in the last 7s. Every hammer attack hits all enemies in melee range and only benefits from 33% of Bellona's total Lifesteal.

Instead of listing 3 rows of alternate items, you could also opt to separate them into offensive and defensive.

Changed the builds again

Too much clutter. For a new player like me THIS is too much items.. basically you put in almost every item there is in game.
Also you always choose but you said you're self in stukes post that you recommend very misleading.
Stukes build may not be perfect but it's easy yo understand and then just improve myself based on my experience.

Also another thing to note, a new player may struggle with this off-meta pick, especially since your team will lack the ranged dps and objective/structure damage that the carry usually brings, which is why I mostly recommend this pick if your Solo laner is a hunter, otherwise I would only recommend this pick for fun in casuals.

Fair enough, I can group the items differently so it's more compact, but most of what I have picked can be used in certain situations, so im not going to reduce the options that are there. If you want less variety to choose from, then just focus on the example builds.

Yes. I choose for a different reason. Firstly, I choose as a starter, not , so I need the extra power from to help clear the wave (and any jungle camps). also offers a greater power spike and in lane, you can engage and/or clear wave with your 2 (with higher damage with Warrior than Ninja), harass the enemy adc with your 1 while getting 1-2 basics blocked, them disarm while getting 2-3 basics in and then go for to the wave to heal (unless you can get an early kill, after all, I do recommend first, as you're going to be building tanky).

Of course though, Ninja Tabi does work better if you want to sustain from the 3's heal and build the 1's block stacks, but, if you’re not building any items towards an AA or semi-AA focused build (notice how my main one doesen't mention ? and how I only get late?), then I value less.

In solo lane I always go on to pair with for lane sustain/boxing. And that Stuke's guide being on Solo lane, is the reason I recommended (which you can go back and check if you want).

Even if I were to pick up something like in the build, im going to sell boots for it late anyway, that it doesen't matter if I picked or . I consider in this role core, but you could swap it out for something with more attack speed. And then there's the fact that some defensive items like and can provide attack speed.

In addition to all of this, the original build that I got the idea from is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDbaGOgE3Ug and was picked over . Also in that match Shell was prioritised over Horrific Emblem, I prefer Horrific, but if you want a more defensive option then Shell is perfectly fine.

Probably even better for beginners is to explain when to pick a certain alternative and/or why your example (even though it may not be the case the example build automatically becomes a recommended build too). Explaining why to pick a certain item (like midguardian mail for hugely lowering the poke damage from an adc and upping your duelling with them) is what will have a bigger impact.

Cause unless you can group every item right for when to use it (which can be done for some e.g. the AS slow items), it won't remove the clutter.

I know it's only a build and i have no idea if you're planning to make a guide out of it (or expand on it). However, I'm looking forward to it.

As you said, it's only a build, I already have listed example builds which both mention they're either against a hunter or mage adc and so necessitate the inclusion of Midgardian mail.

In my "Alternative Build against Other Duo matchups" build I do not have it listed.

This isn't going to be a guide, so im not going to go into extra detail about item choices for the most part, though I did group the items a bit better than they were presented before.

Oh and as I said in my other comment, it's not an ideal role to play Bellona in as a beginner unless your team's comp includes a hunter in solo lane.

Eventually if/as I update more builds, there is going to be even less chance of going into detail about item choices. I don't even think im going to consider updating most, if not all hunter builds since the changes this season due to the variety, and not knowing the pros/cons that well of the different build paths (of which there is quite a few e.g. trans + asi, trans + crusher, devourers + crit, devourers + asi, devourers + qins, ichaival + asi, trans + crit etc....)
