Moonflower Dance already deals 50% Healing reduction and we're only going to get
Divine Ruin in the place of
Obsidian Shard since we can keep the enemy with a constant 40% Healing redux.
Recently tested this out and had a helluva good time! Pridwen is definitely a nice change of pace and allows you to do some crazy plays!

Hi! I'm WolfWitch and this is my guide for Chang'e, the god that has been my main since mid 2018. Right now, I'd say
Chang'e is the strongest mage solo laner, but it could be debateable with
Zhong Kui existing. Futhermore, I'll give a brief explanation as to how you should react in lane and some useful information not everyone knows about her! So buckle in and come in this ride with me! xoxo
The main strength of this build is allowing you to be aggressive in the moment of the game Chang'e normally can't be aggressive: Early game.
By having 5 Healing Potions and 5
Multi Potions, you're effectively allowing yourself a whopping 2125 health, plus the healing from
Moonflower Dance, the healing from
Warrior's Blessing and another burst heal from Meditation Cloak. The idea is to never leave the lane and fully rely on the Totem of Ku, Meditation Cloak,
Multi Potions and the Blue Buff for mana sustain, while the bunny does all the work!
By level two, you can send the bunny back to buy t1 boots, but you could wait 'till around level 4 or 5 to send the bunny back to buy the T2 item of the defense item you want, may it be Void Stone or Lotus Crown. You could get
Celestial Legion Helm if you're facing an
Achilles or an
Sun Wukong, as they both can't lower all of your stacks without basic attacking you (and they weren't made for basic attacking, except maybe
Achilles if you're really wild!).
You should use and abuse the sheer health that you're allowed to have with all the aforementioned items and abilities, and be really aggressive and really safe at the same time! If a gank from the enemy jungler comes around, make sure to use Waxing Moon just as they're both lined up (they will get somewhat behind each other most of the time, since you get a really nice escape with the double healing + dances) and keep dancing! If you can get back to your tower, they could try to dive you. The most effective way to survive a dive is to stay behind the tower, forcing them to go deep into the tower shots, and go around the small space that separates the tower from the wall, which not only makes the tower take the basic attack damage, as it also keeps them from effectively using movement abilities (unless, of course, they're using jumps).
Using Moonflower Dance into
Crescent Moon Dance is more efficient and more effective than doing it backwards, since the animation from
Moonflower Dance is faster than
Crescent Moon Dance, increasing your DPS.
You can flick your screen to increase the distance Crescent Moon Dance goes, but know that it's not by much (but it's really good). Not only it works sideways but it also works if you move forward or backward!
You can charge in with both your 1 and your 3 and back off before the extra movement speed and backpedal immunity from the passive ends, which is really good for constant, annoying poke.
The most effective combo, using your ult, is Crescent Moon Dance into
Moonflower Dance into
Waxing Moon into
Crescent Moon Dance. Most players will expect this progression of attacks, so I recommend you to do
Moonflower Dance into
Waxing Moon, skipping the first
Crescent Moon Dance, allowing you to break the pattern and catch them unprepared.
If you go 40% cooldown, you can reliably use Spear of the Magus for the
Crescent Moon Dance into
Moonflower Dance into
Crescent Moon Dance into
Waxing Moon into
Crescent Moon Dance combo, dealing major damage.
This was my quick guide to Chang'e! If you've liked it, please leave a like and a comment! Also, I'm open to talking about the build or any other suggestions or criticism you may have! If you're shy, feel free to DM me! Wolf out! xoxo

I've run an experiment with three friends of mine (and recorded their performance and such on a spreadsheet) in order to see how I could improve the guide, tips/gameplay wise, and I noticed something peculiar: While they would try to switch up all of their items, they would always stick to the recomended boot. From the 10 scenarios I ran with each of them (30 total), in only 2 scenarios anyone decided to pick
With the results to their performance being a key component, I had also to analyze their build to improve any match up specific tips I thought about giving previously (currently a bit lazy to write it in! haha). Whenever they picked
Taking that into consideration, and thinking that someone who looks for a guide COULD be a new player that doesn't know these CDR cap mechanics, god building and etc, I decided to keep
As far as I am aware no pro/famous players have shown a build for
That said, in a way, dropping the CDR from
As for
Anyway, I appreciate your explanation, and in those cases where I do consistently run into issues about potentially overcapping CDR, I'm going to have to try this concept. It's outside the box thinking, at least in the way I haven't thought about it, and it's a reasonable solution.
Thank you for your feedback! I'm delighted to have someone as experienced and dedicated to the game as you are giving me some meaningful thoughts!
@Stuke, get the bolt cutters. We have a pinky finger we need to collect.
That's all, I'm happy to see you're back and good luck!
xoxo!!
Now, a bit about your guide! I think you could make a better Anti-Heal example build. Way too much penetration for a solo laner, that
I really love what you did here, abandoning the monotomous way we old-timers do guides and doing something more... tongue-and-cheek, I guess! I do hope you continue to post and keep expanding the guide, adding more knowledge, and maybe even filling out your threats tab! <3
I do see your reasoning for swapping out
Thank you thank you thank yooooou sugar pie! People normally don't enjoy these sort of listings I do, so I'm extremely happy to know you like 'em!
While the wording could use some cleaning up and grammatical fixes, it's easy to understand and quick to read. Once you get more use to the site, you can implement some more complex BB-Coding to help organize and format your text into a more appealing style.
With that out of the way, welcome aboard.
I will look into applying some of this fancy BBCoding thing into this mess at some point, while also adding more things that I'll remember as I go!
Thank you for the welcome! I'm so glad ya'll are fun and easy-going! I was truly terrified that I wouldn't be as welcomed! So thank you again! xo
I think you'll make a great addition to SmiteFire.
But hey nice Stranger Things reference
Nice first build/writeup! It's clear
I have a few comments if you don't mind.
If you're playing aggressively, you're going to be doing a lot of poking with Crescent, and so I also think you might be better off with some
The
Oh jeez, thanks for the catch! I forgot to write as to why I use Meditation Cloak! I normally dislike the relic, but you can use it aggressively on
Sugarpie, I added
While before you could apply the slow for possibly 4 seconds (if you waited out two seconds from the first application, lowering your dps, which would make you only apply it for 3 seconds so you could maximize it), you can apply it now for 2 seconds, which is a second shorter then most case situations, and I personally don't mind it! Don't really build it nowadays, but I don't see a problem listing it!
Dearie, I misclicked! It was supposed to be
I'm a personal advocate of not building Shield of Regrowth and
Well sugarpie, with Hunters invading mid again, I thought it was a nice option to point that

Thank you so much for reading my guide, cupcake! I do hope I can bring some joy to people who need help, and I hope your community welcomes me as well as you have! xoxo
Acknowledged on being able to basically double up on health regen by activating chalice and potions at the same time.
Acknowledged on Ob Shard, though still, as a full offensive item, it's really only worth against tanks. On squishy gods that don't build prots, you might be looking at the equivalent of around 10 flat pen, or even as low as 7. That makes it still pretty situational to me. I'm definitely not arguing your choice of
Acknowledged on Asclep. I still think it can be functional, but it's limited to a degree because her healing isn't all that strong. Same for Regrowth, though I will say, as a lot of the pros do, MS is OP. Once she has 20% CDR she can proc it every use of Moonflower.
And yes, I don't forget about Moonflower providing the 50% anti-heal debuff. 90% with the added Divine is pretty crazy, but just like all the other offense-only items, I feel more prots might be the better option. 50% anti-heal is quite strong as-is, and adding 25% more from Pest/Contagion...well, 75% should be plenty in almost all cases, though of course you have to stick close with those to keep the effect up.
Thanks for the responses! I do think it's good to keep options open, so providing a large amount of item options allows for the flexibility needed to adapt to a given situation. Hope you continue to update and write more here!
I see your point on not getting a full power item, so I ask of ya, what would you get instead? This is a point in the game either the enemy laner is going to get his first power item, or his first defense item (Some wild
Thank you for this lovely reply brownie! xo
Like I said, for Solo use, I like the idea of bruiser items if you want to add offense. I think your starts are fine...Void / Lotus options early seem like good choices. But let's think a bit further. Those two as items #2 and 3 are good if you're facing a physical solo + magical jungler, or magical solo + physical jungler (or also consider the damage type of the mid if they're rotating to your lane).
But if you're facing a physical solo + physical jungler, that
Ugh. I'm talking myself in circles. Builds are just gonna have to adapt to the situation. Overall, I think the general info here is good. As Kriega was mentioning, adding a tankier build example just to show people would be helpful.
Personally I don't like too much damage on
xo
Personally, I do enjoy a little more damage early on, so you can be aggressive, hence why I opt into
If you go damage on her you should at least go like,
Also, I'd love to hear your feedback on what do you think is a better build for her on solo! xo
Some "damage" options you could add:
Defense Options: I think I could see more. Shield of Regrowth,
Yeah these builds are a little on the squishy side so that probably should happen. But bruiser-ish builds can be fine as well, since
Possible ideas:
E.g.1 "Tanky" build Against physical solo + anti-heal:
E.g.2 "Tanky" build against magical solo + anti-heal:
Example
The Warrrior's Blessing start you listed is fine (I would swap the health pots for multi pots though), but against low pressure solo lane matchups you could consider
E.g.
My, I do believe my glasses must've been dirty! I could've swore I added the items from the
I haven't tried
Now, for the builds: I do understand and agree with your idea around examples 1 and 2, sugar, but why
Like I've said above, I need to look into
You could definitely use
