Hello everyone and welcome to my Hachiman build and guide. In here I'll discuss his item choice and a simple guide about him. This guide will go over the ADC role on Conquest. You could try these builds on other gamemodes, but be careful these might not do well in other gamemodes. So be careful what you build. So let's get into this guide and I'll see you guys later.
Grants the player extra movement speed and power. Always get this item first no matter what build your using. This item is one of the important and core items for most hunters. While Hachiman is more on AA more power is nice to have for late game. Giving extra movement speed being the most important key stat in the game and the 40 extra power really helps early with his autos in early game.
This item grants the player extra power, mana, pen, and CDR. Get this as a 2nd or 3rd item in the power if you want more power and mana for more aggression early. While this item is not really crucial on Hachiman being an auto based god, but if you want to build more power this is a nice item to get. The extra pen helps early game if the enemy are rushing defense early allowing you to do reasonable amount of damage. The extra power is also nice allowing to do more scaling on your abilities also helps with your Heavenly Banner and Mounted Archery. early game that allows you to lane clear easier. The extra CDR also helps you to pull off more abilities so boxing situations you have the advantage to able to activate abilities quicker than the enemy.
This item grants the player extra magical protections, CCR, MP%, attack speed, and CDR Try to build as your 3rd or 4th item. This is a uncommon item for hunters in general, but this item could bring positive benefits. Magical protection could be good against bursty mages. The extra MP5 goes along with your passive master at arms. The CCR helps so CC based gods will have a thougher time with their CC. CDR helps in general allowing to pull abilities in a smaller time frame. Now the aura is what's nice with the extra attack speed that you and your allies receives and stacked with Heavenly Banner help shred towers.
This item grants the player extra power, attack speed, and physical penetration. Obtain this item 2nd or 3rd in the attack speed and crit build determining if you want extra attack speed early. The Executioner is a simple item to explain. This item gives you extra power that is always nice. Attack speed again goes along with him in general. Let me explain the passive just in case you don't know. Every time you hit a basic attack on an enemy a percentage of their physical protections gets reduce allowing to do extra damage. Every basic refreshes or adds a stack on an enemy. The total amount of percentage shred is 36% so if someone had 100 physical protections and you hit them three times, there protection will be reduce to 64 physical protections.
This item grants the player extra protections, and power. Determines if you want get the protections around mid game or wait till late game, build this item in the power and crit build. One of the most common items that hunters and warriors pick up for protections and power. This item's has some explanation, but it's not that complicated to explain. If you are above 50% health you'll receive extra power. When you hit below 50% health the power gets swapped for extra protections.
This item grants the player extra attack speed, lifesteal, and penetration. Build this as your 4th or 5th item in the attack speed and crit build. Your guardian angel, that is Asi to hunters. If you run crit or want that extra attack speed then this is where Asi excels. The extra is still nice to replace for having no power what so ever. It's the lifesteal and the passive what counts. It's passive when you hit 35% hp threshold you'll get bonus lifesteal allowing you to heal yourself for a large amount. Don't underestimate the passive it could save your life a lot. For the short cooldown it's on it makes the passive valuable and worth.
This item grants the player extra power, and crit chance. Build this as your first crit item in the crit build. The new and improved Rage. You don't get the crazy crit chance like before like it's old self in a while back. The passive is long and could be complicated to understand to let me simplify it. Every time you get a kill or assist you get a stack that increases your crit chance by 1%. When you get 5 kills or assists except getting 5% you get 10% so the item gets a base crit chance of 30%. The same crit as it old self a while back. Nice indirect reference to one of the best crit items in Season 2.
This item grants the player extra power, and crit chance Build this as your second crit item in the crit build. This item is so easy to explain. So why makes this item so good. Simple, it's passive, what the passive does is it increases the base crit damage multiplier. Originally crits hit for 200% of your auto attack damage. With this item that number goes to 240% allowing to do even more crit damage than before. Why is this a late game item though well it's simple, it's price. The 3000 gold price is expensive is focused more in late game.
This item grants the player extra power and attackspeed. Build this as your 4th or 5th item in your attack speed or power build. This items excels on Hachiman due to works with him in general, and the extra attack speed helps. His passive needs it to get the 5 stacks quickly, and his Eagle Eye needs it to shoot out the arrows much quicker. The bonus AA damage is also nice if boxing a enemy. Hachiman needs this item to give him the extra boost he needs in battle.
This item grants the player extra power and lifesteal. Build this as your last item in the attack speed and power build. This item is really good for two reasons. The massive boost in power, and the passive. The passive is simple to explain. When you kill someone you get a shield that scales with your level. The shield last for 20s, while the shield is active you'll receive 10% movement speed bonus. Again this item is late due to the reason of it's price. |
Grants the player extra attack speed and physical penetration. Get this as your second item in early then sell it off later. Ichaival is one of those items are good till a certain point of the game. How the item works is when you hit an enemy it reduces their physical power by 7 (Max 3 stacks). In return you get 7 power (Max 3 statcks). Remember this is physical power so magical gods have not effect on this passive leaving them perfectly fine. Why do you pick up this item. Is too contend with your enemy ADC having them 21 less power and you 21 extra power meaning that you'll do more damage than them. Making it really useful early game. You do want to get rid of this item around mid game this is where 21 power means nothing especially if the enemy ADC is building stacks like Transcendence.
Grants the player extra attack speed and physical penetration. Get this as your second item in early then sell it off later. Silverbranch Bow is one of those items are good till a certain point of the game. How the item works is when you hit an enemy it reduces their magical power by 7 (Max 3 stacks). In return you get 7 power (Max 3 statcks). Remember this is magical power so physical gods have not effect on this passive leaving them perfectly fine. Why do you pick up this item. Is too contend with your enemy ADC having them 21 less power and you 21 extra power meaning that you'll do more damage than them. Making it really useful early game. You do want to get rid of this item around mid game this is where 21 power means nothing especially if the enemy ADC is building stacks like Book of Thoth.
Grants the player extra protections and CDR. Get this as your 5th or 6th item. Mantle of Discord is a good defense item with a great passive. The problem is that it's price, a whopping total of 2900 gold. That's a lot of gold to spend on a defense item. Why do you build this item in the first place it's because of it's passive. When you hit a HP threshold you become CC immune for 1s and stunning all enemies for 1s. This allows you to escape with some health left. 1s isn't a lot of time so that's the perfect time to pop Iaijutsu or Mounted Archery to get away or change the tide of battle. The true reason to buy this item is to help fight against gods that have burst damage that could shred your health. This item helps you escape with a 30% health left allowing to probably tank one more ability till death.
Grants the player extra protections, CDR, and CCR. Get this as your 3rd or 4th item. Spirit Robe is that item that sounds great, works great, but doesn't get picked up. The item base stats are amazing good amount of protections, some CDR, and half of the capped amount of CCR. What makes this item situational is the passive. Hard CC, yeas there is a lot of hard CC in the game, but most of the game you are going to be in duo lane. Not all of the ADC's of the game has a hard CC some might have only soft CC. 15% damage mitigation is not that bad when do you get hit by hard CC and you're just stuck there, the extra 15% less damage well help to tank all the incoming damage in that next couple of seconds. Except being a punching bag, be a steel wall of defense. That's how this item works. |

Especially early-game, I'd concentrate on getting that power up, and in a build focusing on attack speed, I'd probably suggest The Executioner next and delay lifesteal until later, unless you get Devourer's Gauntlet in that 2nd spot. I especially don't like seeing 2 items with 0 power in a build at the same time (even if you replace Asi late).
As such, I'd suggest 2 builds:
Absolutely separate side-note: some dude on DukeSloth's channel (posting during his absence while on vacay) just posted the "correct" way to build Xbalanque, and he gives strong reason to build Odysseus' Bow 2nd (after boots), very specifically to help his early clear...I can see the reasoning there, but in most cases, because it doesn't provide power and scales extra damage off of power from items, it's best as a later-game option. I honestly don't build it much, but that's because I mostly go the crit route with the Hunters I play most often ( Medusa, and probably now Hachiman since I like his kit).
This is nice, but needs more item specified information.
Edit: It's also a nice touch that you added in some info for why or how that item corresponds with that ability.
Getting atlantas bow early game is a huge loss of dps, not to mention frostbound does the same thing, but with health, a better passive, and overall better.
Rage is better than wind demon now, and using crit without lifesteal is a death sentence. Nemean literally kills yourself.
Overall the standard crit build works for every hunter for the most part right now.
