Camazotz screeches loudly and launches a sound wave that pierces through minions and deals damage.

If the screech hits an enemy god, the sound wave will echo. If Camazotz is hit by an echo, his team gains vision of the god that was hit by screech for the next 15s and gains bonus Physical Power for the duration.

Vampire Bats

Camazotz commands a swarm of bats to fly out and attack a single target, damaging and slowing them by 40%, lowering their healing received for 3s and then carrying back a heal.

If the target was a Buff Holder, Oracle, or Alpha Harpy, they will be marked and Camazotz will receive a heal as well as a stackable Vampirism buff that lasts 300s. Marked monsters will not provide Camazotz with another stack of Vampirism or an additional heal.

Camazotz flies into the air for the next 4s. While flying, he may swoop forward to deal damage. He may do this up to 3 times, landing on the 3rd time. Hitting more than one enemy god in a single swoop will deal increased damage per god.

Introduction

Camazotz is a monster and really not given enough credit in-game or on here so I decided to make a guide for the bat god himself. Even early game his basics being able to hit multiple targets makes farming that much easier and he can really destroy an alone target at any stage of the game.

Items

I prefer the damage build I put above so I'll cover those items.

Soul Eater will grant you nice early life steal, power, and CDR.

Ninja Tabi will give you some attack speed and mana along with the movement.

Jotunn's Wrath will get you even more CDR and start you some penetration.

The Crusher will add to your penetration even more and give some more attack speed along with the sweet damage over time passive.

Titan's Bane will add to your penetration a lot, especially against the tanks.

Bloodforge will give you some high power and nice life steal, along with the shield on kills.

Pros / Cons

Falls off in anything other than 1v1
Anti-heal items shut him down badly
Very vulnerable to crowd control

Combo

He's fairly simple when it comes to how you should use his moves.

Screech -> Vampire Bats -> Devour -> and then finish with Bat Out Of Hell if you must.

Solo / Jungling

When it comes to solo you're going to want more of the hybrid build and you'd want to level up your Screech first so that you have a little lane clear. He can be a really nice solo due to how much sustain he has as long as you're landing your abilities successfully.

When it comes to being the jungler you're pretty well off even from the start since your basics can hit multiple targets and Vampire Bats will allow you to heal up a bit. Later on in the game you will have a lot of power in the jungle and you can easily sweep up the enemies one by one with your insane life steal and ultimate that allows for chasing down a target or damaging a crowd pretty badly.

Ok you fixed the boots, but please do something about that double lifesteal in the build, remember Camazotz already has healing in his kit and I did mention to you that would be better suited to hybrid builds. Please look at my comment below and consider my advice.

I wouldn't even get soul eater in the first place. Bloodforge later in the build is fine. Again as I said to the author of the build i'll say it again to you: "Please look at my comment below".

Hey Deception,

So...this one is like...some good item choices, depending.

Firstly, what mode is this for? If Conquest, is it for Support or Jungle? If not Conquest, a universal build direction is fine.

If for Conquest Jungle, then is essential. If any other mode, you wouldn't get it. Even if you're getting jungle camps in any other mode, it's not worth it in anything but Conq.

He is very strongly an ability-based god. The fact that his 3rd hit is a cleave and hits all enemies in the immediate area in front of him doesn't specifically give him basic attack functionality. As such, some of your item choices, namely and , are great items for him.

Now, one other thing to consider, he's got healing in his kit, both in an inherent increase to healing and lifesteal, but through the pools of essence. Although lifesteal can be an okay pickup, I wouldn't ever recommend getting 2 lifesteal items, such as you have in your example build (SE + BF). If you do pick up SE, I'd probably suggest somewhere in the middle of a build, while if you consider BF, I'd pick it up late. Again, not both in the same build.

The two big issues here are and . Yes, you build 3 items here with basic attack function, but again, he's not a basic attacker, and you likely won't get much out of . Qin's really wants MORE AS than what you're building, and it's again best for gods with better basics. He doesn't have anything in his kit that allows him to stick to enemies, and you don't build any items that would help that either (e.g. or ...both of which are NOT suggested for him).

So, Ninja should be . And Qin's basically just needs to go. Any of your protection item choices are good replacements for one of the LS items and for Qin's.

Your ability leveling is not only all over the place, but also impossible. You have 6 points in and 4 in , so you need to fix that. But with any general ability leveling, you usually want to max out your most essential ability first. In this case, it's for the quick clear. After maxing that, you'll prioritize next. would be the last priority.

is not an AA-based assassin, he's ability based, so you shouldn't be building on him.

is also a terrible idea because not only does the damage on his abilities scale off power but his healing in his kit as well.

and is probably too much on the lifesteal side. especially is not really worth without some decent tankiness in the build, it's better suited for a Camazotz Solo, though I haven't seen much Soul Eater recently in Solo at all.
