Moving on, Aphrodite.

I'm no Aphro expert, I must say. But I do think that she hasn't got much influence on the game. I think it's safe to say that she is bested by almost anything by Hel, as Hel has an AoE heal and great burst and her CC clearing Cleanse. And I know she doesn't offer much CC, but her burst makes up for that and her AoE heals are better than Kiss and Back Off!.


I think we can all agree that her passive should be replaced. Just make her passive loving embrace be built on her Kiss and grant her a new passive.

New Passive - Infectious Love - Allies become infected by the love and beauty of ahprodite. If Aphrodite has a soul mate, enemies within 25 feet of her (the size ofmystical mark aura) will also be healed by her Love Birds.
That way she'll be able to heal more than one ally and herself and be more influential in team fights.


I also think that she could use a slight protection buff from her Back Off!. Something like 10/15/20/25/30.

Nu Wa doesn't need buffed damage wise lol...

I can get what you mean with the functionality of the soldiers , maybe HiRez designed for this ability to work like this. As it stands now one must be aware of the creeps around him , both friendly and enemy if he wishes to make best use of Clay Soldiers. If a buff is made for them to start auto-taunting and doing a bunch of other automated stuff , then the ability will become more mindless.

I don't see how minions focusing Clay Soldiers will become mindless. And if you level them up early, you'll lose much of your wave clear and focus more on 'lane-sustain', I suppose. Anyhoo, I think we're finished with Nu Wa. Please, let's focus on Aphrodite.

Actually, on second thought, I think that 100% of the heal in that size of area could be a tad op.

So, it should be that allies within 25 feet from Aphrodite while she has a soul mate are affected by 50% of the healing of Love Birds instead of the 100% I wrote in the first place. If enemy gods are hit by Love Birds, it becomes 100%.

I'm not an aphro expert either, but I feel like this would literally only affect her late game. Even if she played duo lane support she would only have one ally and most people play solo/mid with her anyways, so it would be sort of useless. I think we should focus on making her a viable squishy support. Just my opinion though.

Maybe we can make her based more around the support role in genral, how about this.

Passive- Shares 100 percent hp5 and mp5 with her soulmate. When her love birds hits a target allies in a 30 foot radius also gain 30 percent of the healing.

1st ability- No change.

2nd ability- Your idea, add protections buff.

3rd ability- Lower the damage so it won't clear a minion wave, keep the heal.

4th ability- Change it to 2.5 second cc immunity with 30 percent damage reduction on a flat 50 second CD. CC immunity duration Scales up to 2.5. Starting at 1.

That's just a really rough idea.

I don't think that HP5 & MP5 are that useful to make a passive that revolves around them, unless we make it grant something more than just some health and mana, like healing increase per hp5/hp5 or Magical Power increase.

Kiss - I would like to add something - If aphrodtie's soul-mate dies (obviously when they are kissed by her), then she should get a magical power buff. something around 20/30/40/50/60.

Love Birds - I don't mind reducing the damage dealt to minions, but not to enemy gods. It is already pretty tough to land Love Birds and this skill and Back Off! are her only sources of damage. I don't want to hurt them. I think that 60% damage to minions is okay.

Undying Love - It's more of a nerf than a buff IMO. If we are going to make it grant CC immunity and damage reduction, it should be 30/40/50/60/70 damage reduction.

All pretty good ideas. My idea on the ult was that it would be on a fairly short cooldown to counter the tanks cc. That way she would actually be viable and truly help an adc during the laning phase. Since she lacks that ability now.

I'll share what I know about Aphro.

Firstly, her early game, aka the laning phase, is fine, overpowered even. She's really strong there, mainly because of the incredible pressure she can put on the enemy lane. Both her hunter and herself pretty much never have to recall, have nearly infinite sustain, and Aphro makes them nearly ungankable.

The problem isn't just with her healing late game. It's more like how all of her abilities are single-target in the middle of a teamfight.

Like Hades, we can go support or mage about this. I'll go for support.

I think Love Birds is fine. Yes, the healing isn't so good in a teamfight, but the damage on that thing more than balances it out.

Undying Love is kind of weak IMO, but I think a shorter cooldown would be best. I don't want to change the fundamental aspects of the skill. How about 60 seconds? (And we already have some precedent in Nu Wa)

I have an idea for an indirect buff to Back Off!: When Aphrodite is surrounded by too much attention (3 or more allied or enemy gods who are not her soulmate inside the radius), the radius increases to 30 feet. It can now be a decent CC in teamfights, and is useful for mass peeling/disengaging.

Kiss is weak. It is her weakest ability in a teamfight, but I'm still scared of buffing it, since it's a stun. Maybe have the enemies 10 feet around the "detonation" radius be slowed by 50% for 1 second? Maybe the inverse for allies, a 50% speed boost for 1 second if you kiss a nearby ally.

As for her passive...the mana sustain is an integral part of her supportiness. Maybe have something like blesses presence. Whenever Aphrodite and her Soul Mate are bonded, they gain an aura mana regen, like 1% of Aphrodite's maximum mana. Still useful in lane. Somewhat useful in a teamfight.
