I always believe Kiss must apply to more than one god, max. 2 for instance. She can then use Undying Love on two gods in a team fight, that's really a good support. This also gonna buff her heals and overall viability as a team support. Ra , Hel , Chang'e, Guan Yu all can heal max 5 gods then why not aphro heal max 2.

EDIT: If she has kissed two team mates then heals and undying love won't apply to her.

I have an idea for an indirect buff to Back Off!: When Aphrodite is surrounded by too much attention (3 or more allied or enemy gods who are not her soulmate inside the radius), the radius increases to 30 feet. It can now be a decent CC in teamfights, and is useful for mass peeling/disengaging.

Kiss is weak. It is her weakest ability in a teamfight, but I'm still scared of buffing it, since it's a stun. Maybe have the enemies 10 feet around the "detonation" radius be slowed by 50% for 1 second? Maybe the inverse for allies, a 50% speed boost for 1 second if you kiss a nearby ally.

As for her passive...the mana sustain is an integral part of her supportiness. Maybe have something like blesses presence. Whenever Aphrodite and her Soul Mate are bonded, they gain an aura mana regen, like 1% of Aphrodite's maximum mana. Still useful in lane. Somewhat useful in a teamfight.


I guess I'll test run some matches with her and see if I can give any better input or other ideas.

Well... maybe we could add a mesmerize effect to it:

If Aphrodite kisses an enemy god, all enemies within 10 feet of that target will be mesmerized for the same duration (being 1 second). That way it might be useful in team fights and I don't think that it'll make Kiss op as the range is quite small and it's a mesermize, not a stun.

I would prefer the slow, but a mez would also work.

I like subzero's slow idea. I think a 1 second slow is kind of lame however. Maybe a 2 second 30 percent slow?

What if we moved Aphro's current passive to her 1, then gave her a passive similar to Soraka's passive?

@M4XiiMUS: I don't like the idea of a Soraka passive, since it doesn't really mesh with her kit. But I do like the idea of giving Aphro a new passive. Any ideas?

I think it could work with her kit, making her mana restoration more powerful the less mana your Soul Mate has, and making the heal more potent the less health your Soul Mate has.

The problem with Aphro isn't her viability, it's her displacement in the meta. She is a VERY good character - her ult is exceptionally useful (like a Kayle ult that's a little more difficult to set up), her heal is very strong, her stun and damage buff synergizes amazingly with a mage, assassin, or adc, and her knockback is strong. Her mana regeneration also helps amazingly in laning phase. her only problem is she's not a tank. Tanks don't do well against bruisers in the solo lane, their jungle is too slow to manage (unless you're running Ymir/Athena jungle), and even if they're jungling they're too restrictive to get rid of an assassin (you won't be able to set up picks) since there's no assassin mages atm, save sort of chronos.

Basically, there's no room for a tank to be in this meta, since tanks can't jungle, assassins do, and putting a tank in the solo lane removes your bruiser component. Aphro is a very strong presence, but it leaves your team too vulnerable to having no frontline.

I love her as a support...I just want the meta to change. There's not enough types of gods in smite to provide that possibility. LoL has bruisers, tanks, assassins, mages, mage assassins, adcs, supports, tank supports...there's so much that Smite is sort of lacking. Once variability opens up (like tanks with DECENT waveclear and sustain to do jungle buffs, like Hecarim is, but obviously more viable than him), then we can put tanks there and actual supports in the duo lane like Aphro. I think Aphro is strong enough as she is, but she doesn't fit.

The short version of this, is I don't want Aphro changed.
