I don't even know where to really reply so new thread.

I don't mind all this commotion honestly. If it wasent for Kriega then I'm not sure this guide would have as many comments. I wouldn't have learned alot of people differing information or thought about different situational varbiles as in what to consider and what to exclude in certain builds.

So the most important part isn't that we agree on everything, it is just making sure we stay open minded.

Kriega, At first I found your comments...aggressive to say the least. But atleast you took the time to explain your motives in better detail. I do appreciate that. Now that I have got to know you a bit better I understand your not personally attacking anyone. You'er trying to explain why the builds are trash and not the author. Personally I want you commenting on my guides because I'll know when I screw up. You'll be here to point it all out. Plus again you start up conversation and others to input their ideas and I like that.

So every guide I do (which honestly will all probably be on hunters), I hope you all read and trash me to death till I get better.

Thank you to everyone input good bad or ugly.

Hey man, you are a great builder, kreiga kind of ruins alot of peoples builds, we are the only people so far to make a 6.2 chernobog builds on this website so both of us need to change the builds as more updates are ahead.

So don't listen to kreiga and listen to yourself, make the choice to listen to a suggestion or just tell that person that "It is a good idea, but I'm keeping this".

Dear god, you don't stop do you?

Lukatomic wrote:

Just because you claim the build is "up to date" doesen't mean it's good.

Also known as ignoring valid criticism. I think everyone here can learn from your mistakes.

I did not have much time today to fully test everything I wanted too. I will get around to testing and tweaking more when I can. I have changed some things. (Sorry kriega I did not remove horrofic :D) Taking everything that was mentioned into account I Removed a build or two, adjusted every build that is current, added to the Devos vs trans section and fixed alot of spelling errors I'm not willing to admit. I appreciate everyones' feed back!

Dose eerything look better, built better and work better?

Kriega1 (143) | March 28, 2019 12:58am
For the crit build the order should be Rage > Deathbringer > Poisoned Star.
1
boogiebass (46) | March 28, 2019 1:05am
You probably already mentioned this, but that crit build no lifesteal. I'd rather get devs than trans and executioner than silver branch... but that's my personal pref

@kriega
@bran

Starting a new thread here since you two seem to have massive disagreements about this guide. Kriega, what exactly do yiu disgaree with? Write it out point by point and give bran a chance to refute or agree.
1
Kriega1 (143) | March 26, 2019 5:06am
What massive disagreements?

Only one that i've seemed to notice:

"I might even get Silver after Tabi, then rush Qin's Sais or crits...or bypass Silver if going crits and rush Rage. Lots of options there."

Silverbranch after Tabi? since when was this a thing? Or since when was building Silverbranch with crit a thing?

Rushing rage after boots, not sure about that one. Also if you're rushing crit, it means you don't have your lifesteal online ready soon, and you don't want to be counter built that early now, do you? Or have only your Tabi and Rage if you're behind?

Branmuffin17 (400) | March 26, 2019 1:08am
@kriega: what say I duck behind boogie and you push?

Kriega1 (143) | March 25, 2019 7:32pm
Some of these builds need serious work. Also, you should never, ever get Horrific Emblem on Chernobog.

Your lone crit build has no lifesteal which is a problem in itself. Don't think I need to explain why as it should be plainly obvious?

Also Anti-heal build 1 surely looks like it's losing out on dps compared to other builds. Im not quite sure you need both Brawler's Beat Stick and Toxic Blade.

"Im a causal/ranked Joust player" - Gold this season and Silver last season? Is this with a full pre-made team? Explains the builds.
1
FallenRocket (1) | March 25, 2019 10:59pm
Let's start at the top.

If you read anything in my guide you would see why Horrific Emblem is in the build. It's my preference but I do recommend another relic. I'll let you read for it.

I might actually remove the crit build for one reason, I don't build crit really at all and I made this guide based on my knowldge and in game experience. Not fair to the reader for my lack of knowledge.

Brawler's Beat Stick and Toxic Blade combined together on Chernobog works awesome against a multi healer/ablity heal comp. You cant land your 1 on everyone. I dont think you have tried this build on him perosnly. Hard to believe but not every copy paste build works for every God. Plus this is a guide for people unfamiliar with Chernobog in the realm of joust and him to a point. This isnt counter building and advance teachings. Plus there is a build with out toxic blade not sure if you read my guide yet.

I am a causal/ranked Joust player, About the only thing you read I think. I usally run solo queue so pre-made team I think not. When I'm playing with buddies they play what they like all I do is use what ever CC they have to my advantage. But you are right Gold is my highest rank.I have potential for higher rank but I dont care to sweat that hard atm. Hence the casual.

I do respect your opinions don't get me wrong. But actual thought out cristim like Bran has shown rather than slandering peoples builds with barely any context is a bit better learning experience for the newer/unfimlar players to smite.
1
Kriega1 (143) | March 26, 2019 4:39am
You don't need to remove the crit build, just include Devourer's Gauntlet with it, so you don't end up eating your own crit autos through Hide of the Nemean Lion and Shield of Thorns.

Hi Fallen,

Some feedback (in addition to my one below about not really liking PS):
  • For your writeup about choosing Devo's vs. Trans, I think part of that consideration should also depend on team healing. If you've got a Hel or Ra or something on your team, then you might need the lifesteal less, allowing you to choose the Trans route, and also possibly skipping Asi.

  • Toxic Blade is an interesting item, and usually considered pretty weak, but I'm glad that when I see it being used in an example build, it's always with Qin's Sais and not with crits.

  • I like your ability writeups. Shows you're very familiar/comfortable with the god.

  • Solid tips. Very nice.

  • Bunch of grammatical/spelling errors so you might do a read-through sometime and fix the various things.
+1

FallenRocket (1) | March 25, 2019 11:14pm
Thank you for the Devos vs trans comment. I actually didn't think about this variable when selecting based on my own teams healing abilities. I'll be sure to update that shortly.

I figured most would see Toxic Blade and cringe. The fact you see it a bit different then the norm surprised me.I do only find this item useful in rare occasions but people kinda over look its usefullness on certain gods.

The next two points I appreciate the complements!

Now, I'm bad at this grammar stuff but I went through and fixed alloooot of word issues.

Thank you,
1
Kriega1 (143) | March 26, 2019 4:42am
Toxic Blade is a bit more on the lacklustre side but I wouldn't consider it useless, I definitely would not pair it with crit, and I also find it questionable to include in combination with Brawler's Beat Stick. That does bring the question, which benefits him more, Brawler's Beat Stick or Toxic Blade? Considering that Crystallized Curses is an 80% power scaling ability that detonates twice.

A good amount of the +1 was based on the writeup, and the tips and ability explanations that I think are pretty darn good overall.

I don't fully agree with the builds in all cases. I should probably go into those a bit, for Fallen and others.
  • Build 1, I honestly don't like double-lifesteal that much. I think it can work, especially for the health shield from BF, and the power is nice, so it's okay, but think other items might work better. Brawler's would be one option.

Silverbranch Bow has seen a lot of use lately, and there's substantial reason to use it, but based on cost, I might consider it before Exe, especially if I'm the only physical god, as Exe's protection reduction will only be effective for my own damage.

I might even get Silver after Tabi, then rush Qin's Sais or crits...or bypass Silver if going crits and rush Rage. Lots of options there.

  • For build 2, again it's a question of Silver before Exe, and BF doubling up on lifesteal not being my preference.

  • For Anti-Heal 1, I'd probably get Qin's, then Toxic if going full-on anti-heal.

  • For Anti-Heal 1 and 2, if I'm being relied on by my team to be the anti-heal builder (mage for example isn't going to build Divine Ruin), I might just get it after Tabi if really needed to counter multiple healers.

  • Crit for da squishy should be taken more seriously in Joust, IMO. Specifically because often, Joust comps will have 2 squishy gods and 1 tank, and Qin's isn't always going to be as good in those situations, IMO.

PS again isn't probably going to be that great, at least mid-game, and shouldn't be prioritized before Rage. And then Deathbringer should be the 2nd crit item. Devo's should be considered here as well. Trans, Ninja, Rage, Exe, DB, situational, or Devo's, Ninja, Rage, Exe, DB, situational.

You should add worrior tabi as an optional so that he can have more power, I would also look at my chernobog build to have crit options as well.

Agreed on Poisoned Star not being that good for Joust/Arena. Chern is looking to drop his kit and unleash follow-up basics most often, not box back and forth, especially as he doesn't have any health sustain in that "Crit for da squishy" build example.

Instead, I feel you're best rushing Rage, which I honestly feel is a very solid item for him when going crit.

LOL, I would give you an +1 just for this (god I laughed a lot).

I'm just not sure about Silverbranch Bow, if this item worth so much to put him in almost any build. Besides it, the rest seems good to me.

I'm so glad someone found that funny! You are my first ever comment btw. You're freaken awesome!!

I know Silverbranch is in all builds but one. I cant seem to replace it just yet. I do really well with this item every game. It's hard to dismiss it.

Hey buddy. Can we tone it down a bit? I agree with what you're saying (builds need work), but you're being scummy about it to Bran, Myst, and others. Both are knowledgeable and would be more than happy to agree with you if you actually tried to make a point.

Let's not make more work for Bran right now. Thanks.
